If one is observant and actively listening, there would soon come the

realization that individuals around us have quite different viewpoints

and perspectives when it comes to classifying, explaining, describing

this worldly reality that we humans experience.

Even God has been seen differently even by true believers (sincere

ones) often in an image that is personified, humanized, and sometimes

in an abstract form or rather formless abstraction. Some have seen him

as male others female and a few beyond gender categorization. Some see

a kind parent, others a cruel, even dispassionate 'organization' as

opposed to an entity or being/BEING.

With there being more individuals in the observation gallery than God

entities, and as many views, it does come to mind that perhaps all of

these descriptions are biased and rendered non-neutral due to the

non-neutral unique perspectives we are born with in this world.

It is therefore a good idea to follow what astronomers do. They leave

their sensitive, powerful telescopes out in the ambience of

observation for a 'cooling period'. Once stabilized and rendered

steady, the equipment allows them to view their desired objects

better, even though it is not direct viewing, even then.

Perhaps when we think of God, it is good to remind ourselves that it

is the image of God we are seeing, but divine as the image may be, it

is being projected on a 'human' screen. The highest form of this image

that would be visible and experienced can only be as good as the

quality of the screen on which it is falling and being viewed.

I truly agree with your viewpoint as I have always believe that way even though my family our not of this thinking as my great grandfather is a Luthern minister and believes and has passed it on to many generations as do others that God is made up of one image. I have firmly disagreed with that way as thinking when I think of God I just see him as light and any any image I see him at that point depending on how I talk to him in mediation
