Guest guest
Dear group, For nineteen months I was a member of this group. I enjoyed being here and also took part in some of the intelligent, thought provoking discussions here. It is time for me to leave '' group. I apologise if I have hurt anyone intentionally or unintentionally, as a member or as a moderator. I will be active on my own groups viz 'marital_astrology' and 'jyotish_vigyan'. My schedule has become too busy to be an active member of big groups like JR and 'valist'. I am presently acting as a moderator on Das Goravani's group 'valist' too, which too I will leave as and when he desires to take charge of his group. Das Goravani is the creator of Goravani Jyotish Software. His knowledge about astrology and Hindu/Indian culture is beyond comparison. He needs no introduction to the members who have been on internet for a while. It is my good fortune that a person of his caliber, stature and fame has given me some responsibility. The task of a non-owner moderator is like walking on sword's blade. He has to go through each and every mail taking extra time for this. Offline requests, complaints, messages from members and abuses from the moderated members, have to be handled too. I do not believe in entertaining each and every thought just for the sake of discussions. I am autocratic too, exalted Mars, but the autocracy is not to forward own ego but to avoid any possible problems. My own groups are very strictly moderated with each message screened before being cleared. The message frequency is very less but the members get focused advice only. My sun antardasha in Jupiter mahadasha is ending in February 2007. Till then, some instability will remain, in one way or other, in my life. For astrology students, my birth details are as under: 19th October 1971 00.10 hrs Jodhpur (Rajasthan) India 26N18 73E08 The interesting part is that I am leaving JR when my Jup-Sun-Ketu is on. Ketu, the knife which cuts away permanently. Sun is in transit in my sixth house. Ketu is in second house (family, group) alongwith Saturn. About me. I am a self-employed full time astrologer. I have dedicated my life to this science. It is not a mere hobby or a pastime for me. Every single penny I have earned till date has been through astrological practices. Everyone who knows me recognises me as an astrologer only though I have multitude of other talents too. Each one of these talents are This is not an advertisement of myself but a clarification why I am so serious about keeping the sanctity of astrology intact. My efforts are to give astrology a status of a recognised service. I have discussed this matter with some of my clients who hold high posts in the revenue department of the Government of India. I have even offered to pay a service tax to the government if they include astrological practices in the list of services being taxed. That will at least give some recognition to this ancient science in its own land of origin. Some last words of suggestions: Astrology should not be trivialized in the name of discussions. Many a times, the essence of subject is lost and other meaningless matters are brought into the debates. This makes the learners loose interest in astrology itself. The focus should be to keep the discussions to the point and free from any personal opinions and prejudices. Every astrologer, including me, has his/her own weaknesses. Understanding them is more important than understanding others' weaknesses. One cannot clean a floor with dirty water. The water itself should be clean in the first place. An astrologer's best tool is his expressions, through speech, writing or action. These expressions should have only the benefit of the solution seeker in mind. Yes, one must make sure that the seeker is genuine, then the correct and ethical solutions should be offered. Best wishes to all. May '' thrive and prosper always. Many thanks to all members for tolerating me for so long. Lastly, A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TANVIR. May you shine like a thousand suns and may your brilliance lighten all corners of the universe. Regards, Ashutosh
Guest guest
Dear Ashutoshji, I too wish to apologise for any hurt ever caused to You through any of my writings. But I have always admired you for your strict stance at times, and also for Your astrological knowledge. Its my nature never to keep any resentment towards anyone for too long, and let me take this opportunity to let you know that you have always been like a younger associate of mines in my mental set-up. You are just a little less aggressive then I am, and it does not matter, as long as we always meet as good friends on any platform. I wish you more success in Your persuits and also appreciate your thinking of putting astrology and astrologers under the Head of 'Professionals' Category of Income Tax payees. I am also for it, and whenever you require any such signature for putting up reccomendations to the government, please count me in. regards, Bhaskar. , "astrologerashutosh" <astrologerashutosh wrote: > > Dear group, > > For nineteen months I was a member of this group. Guest guest
Dear Ashutoshji, It has always been a pleasure to have interacted with you. Your steadfast clarity and disciplined outlook has been much appreciated particularly when there was a lot of negativity being introduced into this astrology group. The floors and halls are much cleaner now ;-) I am sure whereever you are and whatever you are taking up can only benefit from your existence and involvement. Wishing you a very bright future, please continue doing the good that you are doing.
