1.What is graha drishti and what is rasi drishti

2.Pls Give with an example the both rasi and graha drishti so that i

Dear Prathosh,

Namaskar,

 

Graha Drishti is easy , Rashi Drsihti is complex.

 

 

 

Coming back to Graha Drihsti

9 planets all have desire so all aspect every 7th house from where

they are placed except Ketu he doesnot have Graha dristi but Yes for

Rashi drishti.

 

Ok , I re-iterate all 9 planets except ketu have graha drishti , means

they aspect 7th house from where they are placed.

 

Now take some exceptions

Mars aspects 4 and 8th house from wher he is placed.

Saturn aspects 3 and 10 from where he is placed.

 

Jupiter aspects 5th and 9th.

Rahu aspects 12th and 5th and 9th.

 

So now Graha drishti u have mastered.

Take a chart with Aries ascendant .

All planets placed in Aries(i take all planets placed in aries for

simplicity).

 

Now every planet will aspect Libra due to 7th normal aspect, Except Ketu.

 

Apart from that Mars will aspect 4th and 8th means cancer and sorpio.

 

Jupiter aspects leo , Dhanus.

 

Rahu same , Leo , dhanus and Pisces.

 

Now take rashi Drishti.

Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are Movable signs.

Taurus , Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius are Fixed signs.

Gemini, Virgo , Dhanus(Sagitarrius) and Pisces are Dual signs.

 

All signs and planets placed there in aspect by Graha drishti which is

as follows.

 

All Fixed signs aspect all movable sign except the one adjacent to it

it doesnt aspect.

 

All dual signs aspect each other.

 

Example:

Take cancer Ascedant with Jupiter placed in Gemini and Mars placed in

Lagna and Venus placed in Leo.

 

Rashi drishti of dual signs , Jupiter placed there will aspect ,Virgo

,Dhanus, Pisces.This is of Dual signs.

Mars placed in Movable sign wont aspect Venus in Fixed sign and vice

versa means venus wont aspect cancer as they are adjacent to each other.

 

So Mars placed in cancer will aspcet.

1)Taurus

2)Scorpio

3)Aquarius

 

And Venus placed in leo will aspect

1)Aries

2)Libra

3)capricorn

Dear Pratosh, Namaskar

 

1. Drsti means sight so it shows external influence.

2. Graha and Rasi drsti are not connected to any specific schools like Parasari/Jaimini. No, they should be applied together with proper knowledge. Source of this knowledge is BHPS and JS also describes Rasi Drsti.

3. Graha drsti is called Bhavisyat Drsti, it shows influence in Dasa and carry emotional aspect

4. Rasi drsti is Janma Drsti is present from birth and shows knowledge - influence of elements. Its like windows which through you can other people and can influence the same. Lordship of graha which aspects lagna shows which person has bearing over you!

5. Graha drsti is used in curses and rajayogas based on lordships (like 9L + 10L) because DESIRE (which is connected to graha-drsti as its emotion) is neccesary to give/get curse. Desire is also needed to build influence/wealth.

6. Rasi drsti can give Raja yogas based on Ck's like Ak+Pk and then this is from birth. Examples are in JS of Sanjay Rath

7. Drsti is important for final reading of effects as sastras often mention that THIS COMBINATION + ASPECT OF SOMETHING gives specific results, so this shouldnt be neglected.

8. Graha drsti on Lagna shows that You will identify with character/personality of Graha (especially in dasa). Like Mangal in 7,10 and 6 will give martian traits in one's personality.It will be internal. Rasi drsti is more external.

9. Graha which has graha drsti on yoga in chart can activate that yoga in dasa.

 

These are basics which should be in mind of astrologer.

 

I give my chart and show some example:

 

October 25, 1982

Time: 19:37:42

Time Zone: 1:00:00 (East of GMT)

Place: 18 E 41' 00", 50 N 13' 00"

 

Here Mangal aspects Lagna, Tenth bhava and second bhava which shows that in area's of health/fame (Lagna), work / finishing projects (10H) and family / gurukula (2H) I will be very protective and if something is going astray then I will be angry/frustrated.

 

Here Mangal has aspect by Rasi drsti on Mahapurusa-Bhadra which shows that there will be some problems in realising vidya (4H) things related to writing (Mercury). But these problem will be burning external manifestation, there will be no so internal frustration coming from Graha-drsti.

 

Sani aspects seventh bhava so I will feel some sadness related to seventh bhava because things will not be going so smooth because of delays/fear/dethrowments/rejections (sani).

 

Jupiter is aspecting Lagna so through association of Guru's - teachers - advisers - lawyers I will take their characteristics and especially in antara of Jupiter I will take the satva guna & gana(deva) characteristics.
