[Vistiji's Lecture on Gem

Namaste All,

I need some guidance regarding gems and rudraksha. Presently, I am wearing Cat's Eye for the last 1 year given to me by one of the astrologer. Actually, I don't believe in gems. Why did I wear the gem was because at that time my sister was admitted in hospital and she was in coma for 6 months. For her well-being, I had consulted an astologer cum tantrik for some remedial measures for her. And he also suggested me to wear Cat's Eye. Hoping for positive results for me and well-being of my sister, I wore it but after few months my sister died. However, I am still wearing it on my little finger in silver ring. Now, when I consulted few astrologers, different people have suggested me different gems. I was suggested Pearl/Ruby/Yellow Sapphire/Emerald/Red Coral and Rudraksha as well. So it is very confusing. And I don't like wearing rings coz it makes me uneasy on fingers. I just need to know which gems are best for me if I need to wear compulsorily for betterness. Or can I not wear gems? Will it make any differnce? I am planning to wear rudraksha in a chain. I have with me 2-faced, 5-faced and 11-faced rudrakshas. Which one is best or can I wear all 3 of them? What is the procedure for wearing? If I wear rudraksha, can I use gems with rudraksha on a single gold chain so that I will not have to wear gems on my fingers?

I use the numerical yantras as they can be used immediately, unlike the

yantra of the graha which requires an elaborate procedure. If you have Sri

Harish Johri's book, you can use the numerical yantras from there. He has

also specified the inks to be used, which I have verified from other books

too, including a pundit who makes yantras by hand.

2. Can I see you chart for the same? It is good to relate the chart with the

effect of gemstones and that is why I requested Sri Visti for the same. I

vaguely remember his chart from the Delhi conference, but need to check it

from the point of Yogi-Avayogi and Sri Seshadri Iyer's principles. You can

worship the deity of the Brihaspati Gayatri as Sri Visti has suggested or

Lord Krishna for wearing Yellow Sapphire. In case of a Gaja Kesari Yoga, you

can worship Lord Shiva for wearing the same.

Dear Rajan,

In fact there is no need to wear any Gemstone.To wear Rudraksha of any faces is always useful for one.You should perform some remedies.As-

[1] Offer water to Shiva Lingam on each Monday,Wednesday and Saturday putting

Barley and black Sesame in it.

[2] Chant "OM JUM SAH:" 108 times daily.

[3] Give rolles of barley flour to fishes on each Saturday.

You will get relief soon in all field.
