Dear ND,

 

Based on your chart and birth date, I find the following:

 

1. Suffering regarding your fathers health is a partial effect of the

curse of Shukra (Shukra is aspected by graha drishti of 3 malefics: Rahu,

Mangal and Shani hence forming curse). The effects of this curse are felt in

your sambandha (relationship) with your father because Shani and Rahu are

both lording the 9th from Sun and both of them are involved in the mentioned

curse. To confirm that, Moola dasha has to be cheeked and currently you are

running Shani maha and Rahu antar dasha (Rahu is running until 28th of

October 2007.), both of them involved in curse and Shani being vakri and

badhakesh is very strong to give bad effects in this dasha. Shani is Rudra

for your father and in pitri-shoola dasha for father, vrischika dasha is not

favourable for him, being aspected by all malefics.

 

2. Remedy for your fathers health can not be done through fasting. Best

remedy for health which you can perform is reciting Mrityunjaya mantra with

your fathers picture, two times a day for 40 days, starting on the Thursday,

Guru vara.

 

3. Shukra, at the same time, is the one who can break Kala Sarpa yoga

present in your chart, involved in previously mentioned combination. Even

Mrityunjaya mantra will benefit you as well, right way to go out of this

doshas in your chart is to worship Kamalatmika Devi. I would advice this

strongly after you have performed atleast 40 days of Mrityunjaya mantra for

your father.

 

Having in mind your fathers health, please start with mentioned mantra

before vrischika pitri-shoola dasha starts or before June 2007.

[Om Krishna Guru] fasting re: father's cancer

 

 

 

Dear Learned Members,

 

I wanted ask your opinion regarding fasting as an upay to make my father's

cancerous tumor in the pelvis area go away.

 

I was thinking of keeping a fast on Thurdsdays as my 9th house is in

Sagitrarius, and Jupiter is transiting in my 8th house in Scorpio, and I am

feeling its effects as I'm currently running Moon mahadasa and Jupiter

antardasha as per Vimshotri dasha system. Or is it better to keep fast on

Sunday as Sun is karaka for father?

 

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

 

My birthdata: June 26 1962, 2:45:20 am in Eldoret, Kenya [35' 17 E 0'31 N]

 

My father was born on Feb.2 1941 at Kampala, Uganda. His time is unknown.
