Dear Samir, Pranav,

Radiation must be signified by the nodes because of its extreme nature. It is used to see further than what the eyes can. Scorpio is the sign associated with going beyond, or being able to percieve deeper. From memory, she had Ketu in Scorpio in the 10th from the Moon.

Respectfully,

Michal

Dear Pranav, Namaskar

Thanks for sharing this. A few thoughts:

The Native works as a

"Radiation Therapist".It involves nursing(Therapy) ,

computers operated machines (for precision) like Radiation, CT Scan/ MRI

etc and training other therapists.

[samir] Intuitively I feel that Mars needs to be

involved here - because Mars deals with the fiery and rational approach

that is required for this work. Radiation itself I think is

associated with agni tattva and hence Mars.

My logic was Moon

(healing) in 10th house in D-10 aspected by Ke (computers/ precision),

Ra(research) and Ju (teaching).

[samir] We normally look at the 6th house as the

first step in career progression. Her 6th house is Aquarius with

Mars. The lord Rahu is joined Jupiter is Pisces and can indicate

the research and teaching you speak of. The guru-chandala yoga

could also indicate the dangerous nature of the things she works

with.

These are just my thoughts. I have found that working out career

from the dasamsa can sometimes be less straight-forward than

expected. I hope other members will correct and add their comments

if necessary.

Best wishes,

Samir

Dear Michal, Namaskar

Extremity cannot be a proper reason. Radiation works on the akasha

tattva and tries to manipulate and/or read it. This role is taken by the

nodes who cause disruption to the akasha tattva and hence the nodes

(especially Ketu - lasers) rule this.

Moon is important for healing.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Visti,

Thank you for the explanation. I guess this shows the effect the nodes can have on Jupiter also.

Just to clarify - I was only pointing out the extreme nature of radiation to help differentiate it from Mars which was Samir's thought. Mars rules the Agni tatva and Ketu acts like Mars but in a far more radical way, and therefore governs radiation and lasers, a more extreme side of the Agni tatva.

Also, radiology is a just a diagnostic tool. The radiologist can point out things that have happened to the body, and then this information is passed on to a doctor who is then involved in helping to heal. So Moon will not be involved so much.

Respectfully,

Michal

Dear Michal, Namaskar

If the Moon is not involved, then whats the difference between the

soldier who uses radiation for war, and the radiologist who uses

radiation for healing?

That is the reason why Moon must be involved.

!Om Gurave Namah!

Dear Michal, Namaskar!

Sorry for jumping in, but radiologist does the diagnosis and it is the radiation therapist who administers dosage of radiation to kill the cancerous growths as prescribed by doctor(radiologist).

Warm regards,

Pranav

Dear Visti,

Indeed there is a difference. But what about people who become radiologists just to get their pay each week. They might work in a hospital (pisces), but to them each patient that they have to x-ray is just routine. They are a link in the chain of the healing process, but maybe for them they are just performing the functions on the computers and machines that they have been trained to do. During my brief tenure as an orderly in the hospital I met many such people - they could just as well have been x-raying cars. They are still kind and compassionate to each person, which indeed is the function of the Moon, but they are not directly dealing with the healing function, and besides a mechanic can be kind to you.

A doctor may require a patient to get an x-ray, so they go to a radiologist for this, but once the radiologist has taken a picture of their insides they just send it straight on to the doctor - no healing involved for them.

Respectfully,

Michal

passed on to a doctor who is then involved in helping to heal. So Moon

will not be involved so much.

Extremity cannot be a proper reason. Radiation works on the akasha

tattva and tries to manipulate and/or read it. This role is taken by

the nodes who cause disruption to the akasha tattva and hence the nodes

(especially Ketu - lasers) rule this.

Moon is important for healing.

Dear Pranav, Namaskar

Thanks for sharing this. A few thoughts:

The Native works as a

" Radiation Therapist ".It involves nursing(Therapy) ,

computers operated machines (for precision) like Radiation, CT Scan/

MRI

etc and training other therapists.

Samir

!Om Gurave Namah!

Dear friends and learneds, Namaskar!

I will like to thank everyone who participated in the quiz. As indicated I have consolidated all the responses for the quiz.

Members indicated various reasons, and common was the influence of Mercury, Mars and Ketu (medicine/healing/electronics etc). One member indicated 10th from Moon - scorpio with Ketu to explain the profession of the native.

I request Visti ji or one of the Gurus to help reach the correct reasoning for determing the profession.

One question is how to determine if there are more than one profession(s) in the life of native. As one of the members pointed out 6th House in D-10 indicates the 1st job and my guess is jumping 8 houses from there will indicate the subsequent ones.

Members please chime in your thoughts!

Warm regards,

Pranav

==============================================================================

RESPONSES

==============================================================================

10th from Moon has Ketu in Scorpio which can indicate working with computers.

10th lord from Moon is Mars and is conjoined Jupiter in the 7th house. This combination can produce a lawyer who has their own practice.

This combination is supported by Bhadra Mahapurusha yoga in the AL.

------------

Radiation must be signified by the nodes because of its extreme nature. It is used to see further than what the eyes can. Scorpio is the sign associated with going beyond, or being able to percieve deeper. From memory, she had Ketu in Scorpio in the 10th from the Moon.

------------

Extremity cannot be a proper reason. Radiation works on the akasha tattva and tries to manipulate and/or read it. This role is taken by the nodes who cause disruption to the akasha tattva and hence the nodes (especially Ketu - lasers) rule this.

Moon is important for healing.

------------

If the Moon is not involved, then whats the difference between the soldier who uses radiation for war, and the radiologist who uses radiation for healing?

That is the reason why Moon must be involved.

------------

==============================================================================

The native in the profession of nursing/medical related to caring of women or baby.

==============================================================================

Looking at the Rasi chart, there is Nipuna and bhadra mahapurusha yoga in AL, aspecting lagna, so the person is very intelligent. This combination is aspecting the 11th from the varnada lagna whilst the lord of this house Guru is joined Mangala. So I think the work would be knowledge-related, related to writing and literature perhaps.

==============================================================================

1. Mercury, Mars and Moon are the key planets in artha trikona in d10. Mercury is strong being exalted LL in D1, lord of A10 in D1 and also being 10L in D10.

2. Mercury, Mars, Sun and Jupiter have rashi drishti on Lagna as well as AL. Mercury and Mars in fact are conjoining AL and Mercury even lords it.

3. Mercury and Mars are also prominent in D24. Mercury is the 4L and exalted Mars is 9L (college education).

Normally Mercury+Moon combination will lead to Medicine but since the influence of Moon (cure) is not so strong and Saturn (Disease) is not showing up, she may not be associated with medicine. Strong Mercury often shows career connected to publishing, communication or business but Mercury + Mars combination can show electrical, electronics engg.

==============================================================================

According to this chart, very prominent chances to become Gynecologist but changes in her career will be very frequent. She will never satisfy in her career as ketu in 6th house from lagna and in 10th house from Moon.

My 2nd observation is this she must be connected to Electronic engineering.

But finally i will just say whatever the career she will opt stability is not there.

==============================================================================

The profession of the lady seems to be teaching in finance section.Or may also be involved in activities of venus like beauty parlour, film industry, actress etc.

==============================================================================

We normally look at the 6th house as the first step in career progression. Her 6th house is Aquarius with Mars. The lord Rahu is joined Jupiter is Pisces and can indicate the research and teaching you speak of. The guru-chandala yoga could also indicate the dangerous nature of the things she works with.

==============================================================================

I would say the lady in your quiz is a teacher in chemistry, or an astrologer. Definitely she'll have an interest in the occult.

Dear Pranav,

Is a radiologist necesarily a doctor? That is my point. I have met many radiologists, though they have medical knowledge, they are not usually doctors, they cannot perform such functions such as prescribing medicine, surgery etc. They take the x-ray and analyse it and report back to the doctor who then has the responsibility to determine the best course of action for the promotion of health.

A radiotherapist is a doctor who administers radiation to cure cancer. There is a difference.
