Hi,

 

I'm Amrutha, I have been a member of this list during last 4 months.

I have tried to post 5 or 6 messages & for some reason, NONE of them

are seen, I mean none of them get posted.

 

I am wondering why??!!!!!

Some of them, my own questions. Some answering others' questions, to

help them.

 

Pls help & how do I make sure my messages appear???

There are precisely six messages posted by you, apearing on

ayurveda list which exclude what you posted today. Please see

mesage numbers 7502, 7525, 7885, 7906, 7988, 8361.

 

When you send the message, you get "your message is posted" on the

screen, but keeps the message for some time, 1/2 to 6 hours.

after that it puts in "pending approval" list where moderator must

edit if needed and approve it. This process sometimes takes upto 24

hours and you do not see the message in the list. If moderator

was "online" at that time, your message gets approved within 1-2

hours also.

 

So patientce is the first thing, teaches! The list

name "ayurveda" have enhanced the expectations that answers are

expected also "online"!

 

Sometimes messages are kept in pending status, if the message

requires any input from the member. In such a case it may take even a

week to approve the message!

 

And messages which group members will object to such as "SPAM" are

straight away removed.

Yes & thank you so much for your explanation. I had no idea that it

may take a day to week for a message to appear. I just used to wait

for a max of few hrs & thought it never got posted!

 

Thanks again for the clarification. I feel better now.
