questions regarding combustion

Helo, and best wishes to all.

May I ask a few questions regarding combustion?

In the example I want to use, natal Sun is at 1 degree Viro, and natal

Mars is at 2 degrees Virgo. This is a very "right" orb of combustion,

and my questions are as follows:

Is the Mars function totally "burned up" and thus severely weakened due

to the solar influence? Or, does the natural friendly relationship of

Sun and Mars somehow enhance the Mars functions? Does the Sun in this

example take over or "carry" the Mars functions, especially in houses

ruled by Mars, or are these houses simply quite weak due to the combust

nature of Mars?

Thank you for any help you may be able to offer in this matter.

and to close to sun to have any good or bad effect

the two houses ruled by mars will lose the vitality

combustion is worst then debilitation as there is no fix for it

sun does not get afflicted unless eclipsed so it will not carrry forward

the effect of mars natural friend ship with sun dose not matter

Dear Thomas,

Regarding combustion, some astrologers say that only the the external

functions of a planet are disturbed. In the case of Mars, this would

mean the native would probably have problems with his or her younger

siblings (external manifestation of Mars), but he/she would have good

initiative, motivation, determination, ambition, courage, etc.

Of course, Mars is not the best example because it is a malefic

planet, but if it was the case of Venus being combust, I think it

would be easy to understand how the the native's soul (internal

manifestation) would benefit from this combustion. It should no doubt

damage the native's relationships, but at the same time the native

would have a strong notion of justice and beauty.

Best wishes, Rui.
