The astro term for occlusion of planetary rays by the Sun is 'combustion', which happens when planets stray too close to the fiery one. If combust - yes, the planets won't be able to give off their fullest. Hope this helps, Ramapriya
Guest guest
Dont meet many astrologers. Every cloud has a silver lining. So in this case. The Sun present there is a silver lining for you. Do You know the ill effects of Mercury and Jupiter placed in the 8th for this Lagna ? I do not want to narrate and spoil your evening. Mercury any way is never further, maximum the next house from the Sun. So that can be considered normal. Did you notice the Lord of Dushtana sitting in another Dusthana ,in your case the Lord of 12th sitting in 8th. What it does I need not tell You, its good,Vipareet RajaYoga . Another thing due to The Sun which is Lord of 12th, wherever it sits, it will deny the effects of that Bhava to the Native, and so for the planets too conjoining it. I feel that the evils arising out of the Mercury and Jupiter placed in your chart would be modified much to make things easier in life for you. Had the Sun not been there, probably the person owning this chart would not have been here to put the Query (If this is your chart). The above are my personal comments. Need not be in line with the other astrologers. regards, Bhaskar. , "francisenasu" <francisenasu wrote: > > On my birth chart, Sun,Mercury& Jupiter are apperaing in 8th House > whose sign is aries. Guest guest
dear francisenasu: here are a few points with reference to your question, but it would be better to give your complete birth data so the astrologer can create a chart and give the proper views. if aries is in the eighth house, then you are virgo rising sign. sun in the eighth may give loss of inheritance, obstructions to foreign ventures, separation from spouse and problems in ashrams. mercury in the eighth house may give one an interest in language, research, the occult and mystical knowledge, and make one physically and emotionally vulnerable, and accident prone. jupiter in the eighth house may reduce happiness at home and give obstructions to acquiring property and fixed assests. One's parents may meet with accidents or have obstructions in life. However, if jupiter and the fourth house are free from afflictions, or are under the influence of a benefic planet, then some inheritance for the native is likely. the final analysis of these planets depends on the closeness of these planets with each other and their strengths or weakness, including influences due to the aspect of other planets. planets too close to the sun are considered combust and they may lose their power to protect and promote their significations. best wishes, david hawthorne fairfield, iowa USA - francisenasu Friday, December 08, 2006 6:07 AM 8th house On my birth chart, Sun,Mercury& Jupiter are apperaing in 8th House whose sign is aries. There's an otiose exchange between Jupiter and Mars - and it's good that way, because there's nothing to be chuffed over the 7th and 8th lords exchanging places. I don't know what to make of Mars' placement in your case. It's both in gandanta and in marana. Although not one of the planets you can as a Virgo expect help from, being atmakaraka and posited where A11 and A5 are, Mars suggests that you should exercise caution in choosing your friends - and astrologers Jupiter has more than a few inherent flaws. It owns two kendras and is a badhaka. In your chart, it's on its way to getting a bit of cleansing from the Sun, which is just as well. The combustion moreover diminishes the quite undesirable parivartana I mentioned earlier. The real problem in your chart is none of Sun, Mercury, Mars or Jupiter but Venus, which is your only do-gooder. Venus in your chart is low on digbala, ineffectually placed within Taurus and is debilitated where it matters. Since it's both awfully placed and you'll commence its dasa before long, Venus needs a shot in the arm. Wear a piece of diamond and see your business career take off. If you need help on how to make a call on your astrologer's professional indemnity insurance, let me know Hope this helps, Ramapriya
