Guest guest
Once my friend asked me what happens to those who are running big Ashrams, Gaushalas, orphanage etc.. do they go to heaven for ever . I remembered a story from Ramayana;- Lord Rama was living life as a king after killing Ravana. He had put a big bell near gate and anyone who wanted justice could ring the bell. Once when Rama was discussing with his court, the bell rang continuously, and soon the gatekeeper brought a dog inside telling the court that the dog was ringing the bell. Rama saw the dog, he was pathetic and had blood oozing from his head. Shri Rama, gave him the power to speak and asked him," why you are crying and why this blood from your head ?" The Dog replied," I want justice from you. A Brahmin hit me with his stick and hurt me. You are famous for your justice ..so help me and punish that Brahmin" The Brahmin was summoned and asked why he hit the dog without any reason. The brahmin replied," I am a very poor brahmin and daily go for alms. Today I did not get alms from anyone...so I was worried about what my family would eat today. I was furious, sad and disgusted and then this dog came into my way...and I hit him out of frustration. I know this is wrong...so you can punish me. Shri Rama discussed with court about possible punishment for the brahmin, when the dog said- Sir since I am the victim of his cruel deed, I should be allowed to fix punishment for this brahmin. Court was relieved, and Rama asked the dog- OK you decide ...what ever punishment you say will be given to the brahmin. The dog said- this brahmin should be made Chief of kalinjar Mathh. All the court was surprised. Kalinjer was the biggest Mathh and its chief was very important personality. But Rama accepted it and made the brahmin the next chief of Kalinjar Mathh. He was carried on elephant with all the ornaments on his body. The courtiers were laughing...as they thought dog is stupid...he has infact rewarded the brahmin The dog then said- Do not laugh on my justice. Now I tell you my story. I was chief of this Mathh in my last birth. I was very honest and did the job sincerely....yet I became a dog in this birth because, I used Mathh's money to feed my family...which is obvious as chief does not do any work,...hence Mathh pays for his expenses. Anybody who uses the money donated for animals, orphans, widows etc...suffers hells and become animal in next birth If an honest person like me became a dog due to eating mathh's money, this brahmin is work-shirk, dishonest, and furious....think of his plight after his death. He wil become a Preta for millions of years...eating shit and drinking urine. with love baba
Guest guest
Based on this story Lallu Prasad Yadav and his ilk should be born as a buffalos in their next birth as they involved in 'Fodder Scam' by syphoning huge funds from Animal Husbandary Department of Gov. of Bihar. It is really agreat sin to siphone off money donated for animals, orphans and widows. If you go to Haridwar you will see big Ashrams, having donations in crores and their chief saints, enjoying life more than richest indians. They have luxury cars, mobiles, computers, and enjoy all the 3 Ws... No one should think they are going to heaven if thousands of idiots touch their feet. Chankya was once visited by an ambassador. Chankya used to live in a hut...The Ambassador discussed things with him and then Chankya invited him for dinner. Before they started dinner, Chankya extinguised the Diya in his hut and lit another Diya lying by. The Ambassador was surprised and asked what it meant Chankya replied- When we were discussing political things, the diya i used was the one for which oil is provided by the State. Now on dinner you are my personal guest on dinner, hence i lit the diya for which i purchase oil from my salary. will India ever have such high souls? Guest guest
You are correct! Even I think the same way! If indian poticians leaders from BJP, HP who wants to protect our Hinduism and the country, follow Chanakhya's Political Science , then then can weaken and destroy the anti Indian forces like Sonia Gandhi, Arjun Singh, Mulayam, Lallu and external designers like Pope( remember the current one is a very conservative and aggressive), Saudi Arabia and USA. But thing we may not expect from our current political leaders as they lack Character, which is the basic element. Guest guest
Jay Gurudev, Its indeed a nice explaination given by Babaji, that how people are going to meet with their fate, if they Use the doanation money meant for animals, orphans and widows. I just wonder what will be people's fate if they eat Non-Vegetarian food?? The statistics given below were recored in 2003 for India -: Thirty three percent of the population is strictly vegetarian. Some communities would not even eat under roots, Jains for example. Other thirty percent of the population in India, I think, is semi-vegetarian; they eat some non vegetarian food once a week or casually but they call themselves non vegetarian because they do eat the non vegetarian food. And hardly twenty, twenty-five percent are, I should say, strictly non vegetarian. But almost no one in India is strictly non vegetarian, even here........ by Mr Jashu Shah, president of the AVU -Asian Vegetarian Union-, member of the Council of the IVU -International Vegetarian Union- , IVU's representative for the Asian Region and honourable member of The Vegetarian Society. My point is if there are some many people consuming Non - Veg food, almost 60% in India (there is no need to talk about western countries, almost everyone there would be consuming Non-Veg food), what will be their fate?? they must be facing even more strict punishment after death than the one given above, as killing an innocent being just to gratify your senses is Worst.. Pls Babaji share your thoughts. Jay Gurudev beirut_ka_baba <no_reply> wrote: --- In
Guest guest
I think their fate will be much worse than simply being born a cow......as by stealing the food of Lakhs of cows, Lalu & co have entered into a karmic debt with the cows, which they will have to repay. This might take him dozens of lifetimes. How do you repay a cow? If the cow is born as a human, they will be born as low paid servants. Even if cow is reborn as a cow, they might be born as servants of owner of cow, & they will have to work for little money. They will be angry, cleaning cow shit & not getting paid for it, but the fact is they have a debt to pay to the cow. And thats just the cows. If Lalu had bought the chara with Govt money, the farmers would have gotten cheap chara-which they deserved as their govt & their tax money had paid for it. But now they were forced to buy from their own pocket, maybe at high prices. This placed Lalu & co in Karmic debt to the farmers as well. For a little money & enjoyment, such people have made sure their next 100's of lives will be spent repaying others. Such people will then cry "what have I done, I always lose money". If people knew how much they were ruining their life by taking bribes etc, they would think twice.
Guest guest
, Astro <astrologer212003 wrote: dear Astro I totally agree with you. Human beings are vegetarian beings and biology confirms it if we go by the length of intestines, absence of canine teeth, and the way we drink water. However, meat eating is ok for shudras and kshatriyas as shudra have to work hard and kshatriya have to fight, they need extra proteins. But meat is, as per scriputres, totally banned for Brahmins and all those who are on the path of regular Sadhna. Meat is a Rajasic food, hence one will not make good progress if he continues to eat meat. Non-vegs may start decreasing non-veg diet during sadhna and should finally leave it altogether. I remember a story my father used to tell me. There was a butcher in a city...Once in the night, king's soldiers came to him and asked for 2 Kgs of meat as the King had a guest late night. Now the butcher was in a fix. If he kills the goat then, the meat would rot by next day as it was very hot and humid. And if he refused meat to King, butcher would be punished. so he thought and thought and finally hit an idea. He chopped of 2 Kgs of meat from the thighs of the goat...without killing him thus getting the meat without fear of dead goat rotting. When he came back after handing over the meat to soldiers...he saw the goat was laughing loudly. He was surpprised as to why goat is laughing instead of crying with pain... He asked the goat the reason for this the goat said,' You gave me a new idea this time...for many births it is happening...once you become goat and i butcher you and next birth you become buther and kill me as goat.. But I never did such cruelty to you as chopping off meat from my thighs without killing me. so I am amused, how much I will enjoy in next birth when i will do the same to you. The butcher was shocked...he immediately left his business and went to forests and became a saint. Of course, the animals we kill for pleasure of tongue...do curse us and their cries haunt as at the time of death. Animals souls are also revolting to the cruelty of men....See the example of Foot and Mouth disease of cows in UK...how many people suffered due to this and they had to kill millions of cows without eating them. Same happened with chickens, with bird flu ! These are animals' revenge from human beings. I do not think in Kaliyuga, we get individual punishment for eating meat...but certainly Nature reacts back as disease etc for this habit. with love baba

Guest guest
Shancer thanks for the beautiful explanations…But how do you justify the vegetarian way of life? Accepting the fact that plants do have life and we actually take away their fruits / leaf / roots or the entire plant sometimes. Do plants curse us for this reason? shanracer <no_reply> Tuesday, December 12, 2006 4:00:28 PM Re: Big names ? Theres another problem. Because of the reasons mentioned by Babaji, our body cant digest meat completely, so the tissue of animals goes directly into our muscles. This might build our muscles, but our flesh now contains parts of the animals flesh too. This means we get qualities of the animal we eat. Since animals think mainly of sex & self preservation, thats the sort of qualties you will get if you eat meat. If you dont believe me, look at most Western countries- they are obsessed with sex & violence(this is happening in India too nowdays). The worst meat is of cow. Cow is called go is Sanskrit. Go also means sense organs, so people who eat cow identify strongly with their body, & can hence never travel to the higher astral realms. The 2nd worst if pork. To see why, just look at pigs. Pigs will have sex even if the female is about to give birth, & eat their own children if really hungry. People who eat meat are actually lowering their conciousness, so that if they dont get bad karma, their mental level will be so low they will be forced into lower wombs anyway. Guest guest
Regarding eating plants, plants are semi consciouss, & hence dont curse us(like animals do) when they are killed. Animals know they are dying, so they cry out in pain & misery, & curse the person who is killng them, also the one going to eat them. Regarding fruits, plants want us to take it, as it helps spread the seed. In fact, all plants with big seeds are good tasting, as they want people to eat the fruits & take the seeds as far as possible. Plants are specially created for us to eat, kept in a deep subconcious sleep by Mother Nature. However, higher Yogis can even feel this sub concious mind, so they only eat fruit that has fallen from trees, & drink milk from a cow that has fed her calves. Even higher Rishis can absorb Pran directly from air & sunlight, so they dont even need this. As a simple rule, we should do the best we can. If vegetarian food is available, killing an animal & causing it stress & pain is clearly evil. Till we become Vedic Rishis & can absorb Pran from sunlight, we are allowed to eat plants, as we have no other option. We dont get bad karma, in the same way a lion doesnt for killing a deer. Guest guest
The structure of human body is suitable for vegetable foods.Hence it is required to consume veg food to keep the body of flesh alive to make it usefull for work.Thats natural. --- shanracer <no_reply> wrote: > Regarding eating plants, plants are semi consciouss, > & hence dont > curse us(like animals do) when they are killed. > Animals know they are > dying, so they cry out in pain & misery, & curse the > person who is > killng them, also the one going to eat them. > > Regarding fruits, plants want us to take it, as it > helps spread the > seed.
