Guest guest
Dear Inderjit ji Thanks a lot for the explanations.Yes i have not understood Bhava charts well.I have only understood that, the degree of ascendant is the deciding factor and becomes the mid point of a bhava.I believe bhava then spans 15 degrees on either sides(thus extending over to other rashis) from the ascending degree.I can understand bhavas getting changes as per the said theory but not on planets changing signs?Kindly explain if this can be done in 2 or 3 sentences.Else i can read, elsewhere. Now i agree on the seed/manifestation that you have mentioned. But other than that,Varga also helps us to solve the riddle of longitudinal degree. The results that we get for our lagna falling in the first/second/third drekkanas within a sign do vary. Also various navamsha rashis on to which a planet or lagna is related ,will also alter the results. With such being the case, isn't the position of ascendant within a sign, automatically taken care?.If your kind self may note, navamsha of lagna is based on the number of navamshas elapsed by our ascending degree within a particular sign. Also my basic doubt is - why should the ascending degree be the mid point of a bhava ?Sometimes it may extend to a sign which is yet to rise!!These are just doubts and please consider my ignorance in the said topic. Guest guest
Dear Vijaydas , The ascending degree does no have to be the mid point of a Bhava . This happens only in Shripati Paddhati or Bhav madhya bhavachalit paddhati. In this method *because * the ascending degree is taken as the center of the Bhava , the paddhati is called as Bhava Madhya Paddhati . Regards , Anand A. K.
