Guest guest
Dear Margaret, I have Venus in Karakamsha, but doubt that it would give me 100 years. I had checked this few years back .From other methods, and I have used at least more than 4 methods,in my case, it all comes to around 64 years time given to me. Rest God knows.(If I live a 100 years I will notify You, but You should be there that time- Hope this brings a smile). Maybe in Parasharas times 100 years was normally considered purna ayu (Or was it 120 ?). Well we do see people living today also till this age but not many. I think practically between 70-85 may be taken as the alternate figures for todays times, just as we have replaced the Royal Horse driven carriages of those times by The Costlier cars of today. Factors for respite from short life expectancy (SLE)- 1) If strong Jupiter (own or exalted) occupies Quadrants it will cancel the SLE 2) If strong lord of Asc.occupies Quadrant without aspects of malefics and receiveing aspects of benefics, it will cancel SLE 3) If Moon is placed in 8th house from Lagna, but if in Decanate of either Mercury,Jupiter or Venus, it will cancel the SLE 4) If Moon at birth occupies signof Benefic planet,is aspected by Benefics,or is sandwiched between 2 benefics, it will cancel the SLE 5) If Moon at birth is of Poornakala (ie.between Shukla Paksha 10 to Krishna Paksha 5) and is placed in Quadrant, and if such Moon is aspected by Jupiter, then the SLE is cancelled. 6) If a strong Mercury,Jupiter,or Venus occupies any Quadrant without association of Malefic, then the SLE would get cancelled. 7) If the Moon occupies the Navamsha of a Benefic, and if the Lord of the sign occupied by the Moon at birth is in the sign of a benefic planetin the birth chart and if such Lord ocupies a Quadrant, then the SLE gets cancelled. 8) If all the malefics are placed in the signs of benefic planets in the birthchart, the SLE gets cancelled. 9) If all the planets are placed in Shirsodaya signs, the SLE gets cancelled. 10) If Rahu occupies 3,6, or 11th from the Lagna, and if such Rahu is aspected by benefics, then SLE gets cancelled. 11) The Planets tenating 2 and 7 are also considered as Maraksa, but if the lord of 2 and 7 is the same planet, then it will not play the role of a Maraka. I am not sure if the above would be of any assistance, but all the same. Guest guest
Dear Margaret, Well I got one reference to the Full span of Life through the texts, when I was searching for something else. A coincidence. Kalyan Varmas Saravali Chapter 40 Shloka 21 - The full span of Life (120 Years and 5 days) will beenjoyed by the nativewho has Pisces ascendant with its 9th Navamsha, and Mercury in 25 degrees of Taurus, while others are in their deep exaltation points. Unilimited Longevity- Same Chapter next shloka ie.Shloka 22 Jupiter along with the Moon in Cancer identical with the ascendant,Mercury with Venus in an angle, (Or seperately in angles),while the rest are in the 3rd,6th and 11th. One with this combination will enjoy a limitless life span. Now both above are a rarity, ones life time may be spent butmay not find such charts. Yet the referenceis there so we at least know what is possible when what conditions are present. Shloka No.22 I am sure would belong to the Siddhas staying in the Himalayas (For ex.Babaji, the Guru of Lahiri Baba, the Guru of Swami Yukteshwarji, the Guru of the Modern day Shri Paramhansa Yogananada). of course we cant meet them to confirm this. And even if we do confirm, its not going to help us ordinary mortals. We all have limited life-spans. I remember when a few years back I came to read the results of Venus in Karakamsha, it made me very happy, but now no more, even if we live for so much, if its a quality life then fine, if all our loved ones are together its fine, otherwise its a dreadful reaching the final post after all have left and the body is shattered. Just my simple thoughts. regards, Bhaskar. , "Bhaskar" <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > Dear Margaret, > > I have Venus in Karakamsha, but doubt that it would give me 100 > years. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Thankyou for the list of exemptions and for taking time to do that. I have Venus in karakamsa, but as my bank account does not allow for comfort until that grand age, I don't mind bowing out sooner:-) I have some charts of young children who died at age six and yet had Jupiter exalted in asc, or benefics in kendra etc so I need to look deeper for reasons why. best wishes M - Bhaskar Monday, December 04, 2006 10:24 AM Re: Diagnosis of Cogenital Disease at birth - chart of child with cystic fibrosis Dear Margaret, I have Venus in Karakamsha, but doubt that it would give me 100 years. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Interestingly one of the charts I have has Jupiter in kendra, but with ketu in Cancer, in trine to the Moon in ninth, but the life expired at age five. Conversely another chart has Ketu with Jupiter in Cancer lagna, but with a Venus Mercury conjunction, along with Sun and Moon in sixth house and this child survived an awesome life threatening event. Saturn aspects Jupiter ketu in first in this chart however. best wishes M - Bhaskar Monday, December 04, 2006 11:23 AM Re: Diagnosis of Cogenital Disease at birth - chart of child with cystic fibrosis Dear Margaret, Well I got one reference to the Full span of Life through the texts, when I was searching for something else. Guest guest
Dear Margaret, If You please check the same charts with Bhava Positions, and notice if the planets have shifted to other Bhavas, maybe they will show another story. Also check the Constellation Lords of all these planets. I did not mention this, becuse many people cannot digest this, but actually the Bhava positions (Spashta Bhava Chalita and the Nakshatra owners play an important role in these). There is a superb book published in 1983 "Stellar Astrology" whcih has nothing to do with KP but only with Nadi atrology, which will give You all pointers which actually make or break a chart to success or disintegration. Its publsihed by Ranjan Publications, Delhi, and when I purchased it in 1983 it was priced only at Rs.25- That is real astrology. Just by jupiter being in Kendra without other factors corraborating cannot save a child. This is what I believe. In my last mail, I mentioned the Cancellation Yogas for the Balarishta Yoga as mentioned in the classics. regards, Bhaskar. , "Marg" <margie9 wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar > > Interestingly one of the charts I have has Jupiter in kendra, but with ketu in Cancer, in trine to the Moon in ninth, but the life expired at age five. > Conversely another chart has Ketu with Jupiter in Cancer lagna, but with a Venus Mercury conjunction, along with Sun and Moon in sixth house and this child survived an awesome life threatening event. > Saturn aspects Jupiter ketu in first in this chart however. > best wishes > M > > - > Bhaskar > > Monday, December 04, 2006 11:23 AM > Re: Diagnosis of Cogenital Disease at birth - chart of child with cystic fibrosis > > > Dear Margaret, > > Well I got one reference to the Full span of Life through the texts, > when I was searching for something else. Guest guest
Dear Margaret, I had posted one reply to a native who had been given only 48 hours for his new born nephew to live, and was in critical condition in Apollo Hospital in Madras (Chennai). This man was tensed (naturally) and was seeking succour from astrologers, and everyone replied to him in the negative before me, as per the grave Balarishta Yoga present in his horoscope, except me, and he did reply after a months time that the child was saved,to live. You may check in the Forum Jyotish Remedies, where I am no longer a member, but if you wish you can go through my technical explanation as per Nakshatra astrology why I did so.I want to say that we cannot take all rules mentioned in the texts as hearsay as who knows what was the position of the stars at that time, Sayan or Nirayana, whether ayamnasmha existed that time or not, and whether today we are taking proper settings in the software or not. Even the chart you have prepared in your software may be questionable. please dont mistake me, I am just saying that there are many factors for us to assess before we prove the texts wrong or it may be our inability to put all or see all the conditions, of the Balarishta Yoga or cancellation Yogas to confirm. The identification of this Balarishta Yoga (Short life) is in itself a difficult excersise and its interpretation is more difficult. regards, Bhaskar. , "Marg" <margie9 wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar > > Thankyou for the list of exemptions and for taking time to do that. > I have Venus in karakamsa, but as my bank account does not allow for comfort until that grand age, I don't mind bowing out sooner:-) > > I have some charts of young children who died at age six and yet had Jupiter exalted in asc, or benefics in kendra etc so I need to look deeper for reasons why. > best wishes > M > > - > Bhaskar > > Monday, December 04, 2006 10:24 AM > Re: Diagnosis of Cogenital Disease at birth - chart of child with cystic fibrosis > > > Dear Margaret, > > I have Venus in Karakamsha, but doubt that it would give me 100 > years. Guest guest
Yes this is all so true sadly, for if we could rely on the ayanamsa, correct calculations with software, accurate longitude and latitude of planets etc even before we assure ourselves of correct birth time then we could rely on the ultimate prediction in shastiamsa. - Bhaskar Monday, December 04, 2006 5:53 PM Re: Diagnosis of Cogenital Disease at birth - chart of child with cystic fibrosis Dear Margaret, I had posted one reply to a native who had been given only 48 hours for his new born nephew to live, and was in critical condition in Apollo Hospital in Madras (Chennai).
