The end of home-cooked donations?

The Washington Post recently reported that Fairfax County (DC burbs)

is clamping down on home-cooked donations to shelters because food

cooked for the public has to be cooked in approved commercial-style

kitchens.

Interesting to see if other localities try similar things and how

ONS Tom,

The Mother's Kitchen in San Jose cooks at the shelter site, but I don't know about other Mother's Kitchens. The agency where I work has a shelter, so I'll check out their policy.
