Dear Ramapriya,

Good /finally astrological!/ point.

We've seen your good Mercury and I like your sense of humour, fluently communicated in a nice mutually reinforcing circle.

Moon and fourth you say? Hmm..Have you forgottent Mars? maybe entire chart is needed to decipher ego-problems?

/Just a thought: with my deb Moon and Mars in 4th, currently running, I haven't killed anybody, myself included.thank Lord..on the contrary, I'd say-whatever is contrary, LOL Reason? Strong (naksatra) and shad-bala of Mars, strong Ju aspecting lagna and (poor) Moon. But these are diffucult positions, I must agree with you.

I've also noticed that primarily it is a weak Mars, afflicted Ma...which brings quarelsome, ego pride etc problems. Strong Mars doesn't fight petty issues, is less likely to suffer 'thin-skin-syndrome'.

My 2ct /guilty of enjoying silence for too long, but please forgive me, I really don't like participating in blame game like this one was.

Plus, I do accept the role of Me, karaka for comm., as well- by being able 'debate' without 'hurting others, ie, for 'healthy debate' definition.

Regards,

A.

Thanks for the astro bit Sujit :)

I disagree on ascribing to Mercury what's been happening on those threads.

Mercury is mainly the karaka for speech and communication, and at most

indicates how fluently or otherwise someone can speak or write. The

substance of what's communicated, however, originates from the Moon (natural

significator of the mind), 4th house (state of mind) and 2nd house (speech).

That too is the macro picture. Delve deeper into the native's dasas for

finer imagery and treat planetary transits as garnish :)

Cheers,

Ramapriya

Ego needn't automatically translate into communications. The

heavy-headedness of an untempered, strong Sun in 7th or the lagna is one

thing, a Venus or Jupiter-influenced 2nd house quite another.

Sure, but it does- how would it reveal itself if not throught communication, on whatever level:good or badd, verbal, nonverbal.. That's the reason 7th 'heavy-headed untempered' Sun jumps to reveal itself quickly and clearly

Agree.

Mars would make one more combative than an egotist. Discretion isn't

guaranteed at all, thus upping the role that a benefic Moon or Jupiter can

play in respect of discretion.

Ramapriya, you are doing this over and over again- introducing a new variable unrelated to discussion point- I agreee with what you said about Mars/egotictic-combative/, but I've never mentioned the oposite, nor was it an issue we spoke about! But this is a good point anyway, good to be reminded of, for sure.

Cheers,

Ramapriya

I thought I might mention about the strong Mars thing that you touched upon,

Anna - and kind of waffled a touch :)

Isn't it snowing there yet? Your timestamps say you're being awake real late

:)

Cheers,

Ramapriya
