Now comes the greatness of Sripati who very precisely formulated the entire philosophy of Brihatjataka in his magnum opus "Jataka Karma Paddhati" . In this book there is clearly mentioned 480 shatiamsas as the minimum strength of either planet or bhava. Again, we should compare the shadbala of navamsa's lord of these two i.e., Moon and Lagna to assess the strongest when a tie arises. So, we should carefully judge the transit results on 1. Strength of lagna and moon and also if required through strength of navamasa lords of these two 2. Astakavarga bindus 3. In tune with the past i.e., Dasas. Please remember these dasas are not Vimsottari but Moola dashas which is very difficult to calculate but possible if one is Guru-shisya Parampara where it is secretly taught. Now at present there is no software which is in a position to give neither the exact shadbala as mentioned in Sripati nor Dashas and their sequence. People who do not know basic astrology but read since every paper mag. is writing about that. Millions of people are born from 0 to 100 yerars in same rasi. How can we generalise them. That is why astrolers and astrology is critisised severely including myself about rasi palans in amgs.... I lost my job and father with in few months during 2000 dec. feb 2001. Meena rasi. Iwent to a library read all mag. and papers , monthly weekly daily yearly I could not find not a single line indicated directly or indirectly about my life incident. MY DOB 31.07.1953 --- 02:30 am - Chennai Rishabha lagna meena rasi I feel that the kochara palan may be understood with reference to langna and the planets of dasa bukthi anthara during transit where are they with reference to the DBA lords and also to the lagna. My father died during Venus DASAbukthi OF Kethu when venus in 8th and kethu in 8th to lagna in transit and the 9th and 8th lords jupiter and saturn transiting in my 12th house (degree wise) rishaba langa (DOB 31,7,1953 2.30 am chennai) and the jupiter and saturn where transiting in star of 4th lord (8th of father -- 9th house) the sun the star lord of jupiter and saturn was transiting in 8th house (father died 23.12.2000) . So pls. check up dasa bukthi lords andtheir transit with reference to lagna may give a better picture with reference to lagna and also see the star lords of the planets and see where they transiting during any incident or a course of period. My Mother met with accident when jupiter the 8th to 4th house the 11th lord for rishbha lagna was transiting in Leo my 4th house. My dautghter met with an accident when kethu sun mercury was transting in my 12th house (8to 5th house of children). According to Phaladeepika and others it should be seen from Moon. According to me, only transit indicates results up to 25%, dasha and bhukti gives results upto 35% and yoga 40%So all three are to be consulted. But news papers, magazines etc gives results only from Moon which is not correct. But every Indian, nay every human being has curiosity to know about their future, so they publish the results from Moon to increase their circulation.It cause harm to astrology.
