Guest guest
Dear Friends, Since the Home Page of the Forum, gives so much respect to Shri KN Rao Sahab,as I too do let me also quote him. In the introduction of his book "Learn Vedic Asytrology without tears", he has clearly mentioned that it is possible to be a good astrologer without learning its mathematical side. He also also mentioned on the same Page that one felt the need to learn astrology more deeply, they should learn the mathematical part of astrology, to be better equipped technically. My personal comments- Yes I agree one can become a good astrologer without learning the maths part, but again to understand certain techniques of predective astrology the one who has learnt the maths part, he is better equipped. I was myself not knowing how to cast a chart properly for the major part of my astrological journey (Just in bits and pieces), and let me confess this was a very big handicap for me whenever the advanced studies were taken up, it was difficult to get down to re-charting the examples quoted. Best wishes, Bhaskar.
