Guest guest
Dear Anand Bhai, Good you seem to be aware so at least can discuss with you. Shripati Padhati Chalit chart has been used in the past widely along with the Natal Chart. But since last 10-15 years keeping the Nirayana positions of planets as it is, the Placidus House system is being preferred by the Ancinet vedic system followers too, for the astounding results accrued from the same. Even institutions like Bhartiya Vidya Bhuvan, which may be called the best in India, nay the world, though does teach all approaches, but propogates this approach as the best. The KP followers follow this same approach. Life is too short to keep on trying and trying new things to satisfy our own selves about the principles of any study. When the elevated masters in any field say that this is a good system and one should follow this, we get a push and then relaise later on when we study charts by same system and approach, the validity of the advise given to us. At times thus its better to accept the ready made butter available in the Bazaar because if we try to make 1 kg of butter we may spend few days in that. In astrology we may spend few years to reacxh a conclusion about any principle. Therefore what a Master says, we accept, as we know he has realised the truth. In the same way Bhava Chalit was alien to me in the start years of astrology. Then I realised the importance when I was introduced by My gurus, and now I dont even look at the Natal chart except for the aspects or transits, but just note down the Positions of the planets as per the cuspal degrees of each Bhava. Most of the times, I dont even remember the Lagna after few minutes, but just which Planet in which Bhava and in which constellation, may stay in my memory for another 2 days. Best wishes, Bhaskar. , Anand <anand.ghurye wrote: > > Dear All , > > I have been following the discussion about the Bhav chalit chart versus rashi chart . Here it seems that the only bhav chalit chart we seem to be discussing is the one erected by the Shripati paddhati . The KP followers may add Placidus paddhati . Following are some of the various bhav chalit paddhatis - each of which have ardent followers and their share of successes and failures. > > Placidus > Koch > Equal House > Campanus > Meridien > Regimontanus > Prophyry > Marimus > Topocentric > Alcabitus > Equal ( MC) > Neo prophyry > Whole House > Vedic > Null > > Please note that the null bhav chalit is same as our regular rashi chart . > > So we are not discussing two or many totally different approaches but are discussing different perspectives of similar approaches . > > Also I believe that the sixteen varga charts together are giving a very similar picture as in any bhav chalit chart . > > > Regards , > > Anand > > A.
