Guest guest
I know that several methods exist to improve eyesight, and I would like to find an alternative to laser correction and decrease my dependency on glasses and contacts. Currently my vision is not horrible, but I need glasses for seeing at a distance, and for driving. Any help would be wonderful, from herbs to diet to exercises, etc. Thank you for your time! Guest guest
that link you provided didn't work can you please provide it again. I have a detached retina however it was taken care of at a young age after it occurred. I am always looking for new ways of treatment especially ayurvedically for my eye. I was wondering if you could lead me in the right direction. sincerely, Raja Gursahani *: 314.761.3134 (Cell) *: rajagursahani
Guest guest
Dear Ashley A file named CHINESE_EYE_EXERCISES.doc is available in file section as per the last message. yoga offer several exercises to relax eye muscles and remove fatigue etc. There are at least 1000 accupressure points on skull and face. Those important for eye muscles get pressed during exercises described in above file. Download the file to your PC so that you can enlarge the pictures for clarity. All these exercises take not more than 5 minutes. Done twice a day. There are some herbal options also if you can get those in your neighbourhood or order online. Mix triphala powder and fennel seeds equal weight of each. By taking 1 tsp of mixture in morning and evening, either with water or ghee increases eyesight. Blurred vision and eye fatigue is symptoms of increased use of refined carbs and sugar. By putting pomegranate juice into the eyes reduces the power of glasses needed for correcting vision. To increase eyesight drink a glass of water in morning or rub carrot/coriander leaves juice or rub cow's ghee in the sole of the foot or rub mustard oil in the head or put old honey in the eyes. For garding the health of eyes, liver must be kept in good shape. Avoid Pitta enhancing diet: Chillies, excess spices, sour, fermented, moving in hot sunlight, sleeping late. If you can walk on green grass early morning when dew accumulates on grass, it will help reduce pitta and increase eyesight too. ayurveda, "ashleynichollle" <intangible_reverie wrote: > > I know that several methods exist to improve eyesight, and I would > like to find an alternative to laser correction and decrease my > dependency on glasses and contacts. Guest guest
The link provided by Dr. Phadke does work provided you first click on ayurveda/message/8407 and then appearing in that message. Sometimes the link gets broken on two lines and then clicking on the link does not allow access. But if you try as stated here, you will access the article. ayurveda, "Raja Gursahani" <rajagursahani wrote: > > that link you provided didn't work can you please provide it again.
