Guest guest
She can avoid the operation which is both risky and costly. Better that you consult some competent vaidyas. In the last resort, if nothing works, you may contact me for further guidance. S. M. Acharya <smacharya (AT) (DOT) co.uk> --- "P. Subramani" <subramani6912 > wrote: > My mother has worn-out knees. Guest guest
As discussed in one of the recent message on ayurveda: http://health.ayurveda/message/8373 It is possible to balance vata and cause some regenration of the cartilages and even bone structure. After all these are tissues ayurveda terms dhatus, which will grow if proper nutrition and vata balance needed for regeneration is achieved. Now Panchkarma is the best option as discussed in the above message. The power of panchkarma procedures is being witnessed by this author in treating various disorders of endocrinal system and joints. Hence he would say that contact nearest ayurvedist who also performs panch karma well. Since walking is difficult, nearest ayurvedist will be best. You can check up "contact list" stored in our database on group website. Instead of spending Rs 3.5 Lakhs on a surgery and giving scope for other side effects of having "foreign bodies" in the body later , it is better to take herbo-minerals medicines, rasayanas, bastis and nasyas. Immune system is known to react to anything which is not "self". This is what starts the arthritis, an auto-immune disease. ayurveda, "P. Guest guest
Good that you are considering ayurvedic solutions. Before stopping the thinking on these solutions you should also study: Study: Disk surgery offers no advantages http://www.sciencedaily.com/upi/index.php?feed=Science&article=UPI-1- 20061122-08040900-bc-us-disksurgery.xml comparison with non-implanted osteoarthritis patients revealed that the hospitalization rate for Connective Tissue Damage was reduced after hip implant surgery, but increased after knee implant surgery http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=952424 People usually undergo knee replacement surgery when the pain has become too severe and no physical therapy or drug treatments are working. While a total knee replacement has a significantly higher success rate than in the past, complications can still arise. The success rate of the replacement operation is greatly influenced by the actual knee replacement that the patient receives. http://www.yourlawyer.com/topics/overview/oxinium_knee_implants ayurveda, "P.
