Well, maybe some people might not think that Amma people are the

same as that, but others might understand it differently. Anyway,

the following message reached me today. Some people may be familiar

with the TV show, Wife Swap. As those familiar with it know, it is

more about the differing lives of wives and mothers than with

anything improper. Here's the message:

ABC Television Inquiry

Hi .......,

My name is Meghan McGinley and I am a casting producer for ABC

Television. I am currently working on the ABC show, Wife Swap. In

case you are not familiar with the show, the premise of Wife Swap is

simple: for two weeks, two wives from two different families

exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover

what it's like to live a different woman's life. The show airs on

ABC on Monday nights at 8pm – family hour! It offers a positive

experience for people not only to teach, but to learn about

different family values.

I am currently working on casting for the third season of the show,

and I am hoping to feature a family who is involved in goddess

spirituality on an upcoming episode. I would love to find an

outgoing, dynamic family who would be excited about the opportunity

to teach another family (and the rest of the country) how they live

their lives, and how goddess spirituality is a part of it. I came

across your contact information in my research, and was hoping you

might be able to help me in this regard. In return, if a family you

refer appears on the show, you will receive $1,000 as a thank you.

We are looking for two parent families (not necessarily married –

just living together) who have at least one child living full time

in the home between the ages of 6-18. Families who participate in

the show receive $20,000. For more information, to obtain an

application or to refer a family, you can reach me at (212) 404 1473

or Meghan.McGinley (AT) rdfusa (DOT) com.

Thanks!

Meghan
