Guest guest Report post Posted November 30, 2006 Why not just ask at the temple. I'd imagine however that it's just like why do Brahmachari's need books? Oh, to read about Krishna. Similarly, one can listen to lectures on an ipod. I know some devotees with cellphones, as they are useful for cultivation - most Karmi's have cellphones, so the devotees can use a cellphone to attract people to the temple. niche 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2006 am sure there can be little more clarification on this. i agree that the gadgets are used in sync with KC but yes they often give a wrong inmpression to the new devotees which can be harmful . i one might question the usage of funds in this way... rather than providing i pods and expensive cell phones to brahmacharis they can be utilzed in better ways ..!!?? i have faced this question many times... but never cud think of convincing answer for myself. Guest guest Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Personally for me, I have a mp3 player, laptop etc. I'm not Brahmachari, but I am using these things so that I can be Krishna Conscious. There is a lot of time wasted where I could be listening to a lecture, like washing dishes etc. If it helps someone think of Krishna, then it can be used. Why nay say.
