: To pundit Dakshinamoorthi ji on name change

If you could kindly recall your advice on my daughter's name change and prediction(pasted with this mail as well). It is about 5 months and my daughter is better, is regular to school. You mentioned about a miracle in her life. For her conditions there is no medical cure but recently by some strange coincidences we have found out a procedure which can change her condition drastically and make her life livable. but what we are worried is that it can cause serious side effects and the probability is very high and even the cost of treatment is exhorbitant. If you could guide us whether the time is right for her to go for such a treatment, it would help us decide. Also, please gude us about her siblings if there are any.. I await a response following which only I would decide.

Dear Dr. Anaamika:

 

Yes...your daughter's horoscope shows good potential of spiritual

advancement. In such cases, these souls are made to suffer as a

"special arrangement"! Powerful karmaas of many previous births will

be extinguished in this birth itself due to the sufferings and

ultimately this will lead the soul towards final liberation.

 

If we can treat disease as a tapasya and maintain equanimity, then it

is not disease at all.....It is a holy yagna! Maybe, the child knows

right, then some miracle is expected in the child's life and her life

will change eventfully thereafter with no trace of her current

suffering. Her spiritual evolution is closely tied with her current

sufferings.

Dear Dr. Anamiagulati:

 

The child is under Mercury dasa - the lagna and 4th lord which is in

the 8th house from the natal ascendant. This is a tricky dasa;

however, we cannot fully exclude this whole dasa for the treatment

as it will operate for the next 13 -1/2 years yet! Mercury bhukti

in Mercury dasa is in operation currently. It is generally

considered auspicious...If not for the position of Mercury in the

8th house, I will clear this period positively for the treatment as

Jupiter is also in the favourable 5th house transit from Natal Moon

in scorpio- a sign which contains 6 bindus in the Jupiter's

ashtakavarga. Another note of concern is for those born in Mithuna

lagna, the 4th and 5th years of life are supposed to be quite

critical for life. At this point, given that you are yourself

saying that side-effects are expected in the treatment, I am not

inclined to recommend this risk at this juncture. A prashna erected

for this treatment (16 Nov 2006, at 10-20 a.m. at chennai) also was

not very positive about the outcome of this treatment showing a

lingering illness and slow recovery with the possibility of

complications arising out of the treatment.

 

The best period for taking such drastic procedures to cure the child

will be between September and December 2009 which the transits of

both Jupiter and Saturn will be favourable and the child will be

running the favourable Mercury dasa-Venus bhukti (Venus in the house

of its yogakaraka in the 9th house). I do not know if the treatment

procedure can wait so long. My prayers are there for the child.

 

On the remedial side, I would recommend recital of Sundara Kaanda 21

times for the health of the child. You can also try this out:

 

Chant the following choupaayii of Hanumaan Chaalisa - "Om Naasai

Rhoga harai......" 36 times daily and 108 times on Wednesday

evenings. Keep water with tulsi leaves in a small tumbler in front

of you while chanting this and after the japa give this to the child

to drink. Your child itself can chant this whenever possible. This

has been known to effect miraculous cures. Let this help your child

also.
