If we refer to the set of rules given by great achaary Varahamihira in his magnum opus Brihatjataka in Dasa-antar dasa chapter all doubts of yours will be cleared. For eg: he states that: 1)Planet in Param-Ucha and with shadbal is called Sam-Poorna which will usher very good 2)Planet in Ucha sign and with shadbal is called Poorna which will usher good 3)Planet moving from its Parama-Ucha towards its Parama-Neecha is called Avarohin or descending which will be capable of ushering bad results 4)Planet in Avaroha but posited in any of these states viz., ucha, own or Adhimitra navamsa is called Madhya or medium which will usher mixed results 5)Planet moving from its Parama-Neecha to Parama-Ucha (in rasi chart) is called Aroha or Ascending which will capable of ushering good results 6)Planet in Aroha and posited in Neech, Satru amsa is also called Madya and will usher mixed results 7)Planet in Avaroha but posited in Neech or Satru amsa is called Adhama and or worst which will only usher bad results 8)Planet in Aroha and posited in either Ucha, Swa or Adhi-mitra amsa is Subha which will usher good results 9)Planet in Subha with also good shadbal is Poorna which will give good results more than 75% 10)Planet in Neech or Parama-neecha with less or no strength is called Rikta or Anista which is the worst of all In this way, Varahamihira in the parampara of Garga explains systematically all natures of any planet. Please remember that all the above said categories are realised more only when we apply to the dasa paddhati advocated by Varahamihira which is quite different from the present Parasara. In fact, Varahamihira nowhere adopts Parasara school which is the sailent feature. We can discuss further on these matters later Hence, before coming to conclusion of quantum of nature of a planet we should first be able to assess shadbal and later to the above rules and their applicablity to Varahamihira's dasa paddhati. Hope you got the point Jairadhe > Respected sir, How are you? I hope you will be fine and happy.... > Sir i want to know that debilitated Planets always produce negative > effects?
