Guest guest
Dear Visti-Ji, Learned Members, Namaste, I got confused about the interpretation of MBPHS Chpt.14, Schloka 12- 14, Girish Chand Sharma's version (Pg.197), on how to see various parts of the face, and body etc. Sharma mentions that, "If there is the rise of the 1st. decanate of the Ascendant" (I believe this means rising degree is 0 to 10 degrees?), then 2nd. house shows right eye, 3rd. house shows right ear etc. For the second and third decanates he mentions parts of the body etc. What is the mistake in my understanding here? from the text it appears that if the rising degree is not in the first decanate, then the houses do not show parts of the face, which does not seem logical. Also does the Parampara say anything about the odity of the rising sign. E.g. if the rising sign is even, is the 2nd.house still showing the right eye, or maybe the left eye? Always very appreciative of your attention and precious guidance, Sabri.
Guest guest
[ Hare Rama Krsna ] Dear Sabri, If the Lagna is in the 2nd drekkana, then all the planets in the 2nd drekkana in any sign will affect the head region. The 3rd drekkana, and any planets placed there will indicate the middle portion of the body, and the 1st drekkana will show the legs. So, the drekkana that the Lagna occupies determines the order of the body parts. I hope I have explained this in an understandable way. Respectfully, Michal [ Om Namo Narayanaya ] Sabri <korua (AT) efes (DOT) net.tr> wrote: Dear Visti-Ji, Learned Members, Namaste, I got confused about the interpretation of MBPHS Chpt.14, Schloka 12- 14, Girish Chand Sharma's version (Pg.197), on how to see various parts of the face, and body etc.
