Guest guest
Satish-ji Thank you for reminding me of failed predictions. 1. Gonzalez did not get nominated or even picked. Without knowing the contenders - it is risky prediction. I still saw lot of strength in his chart. It was a risky prediction that failed. 2. Same with Shaq - he never won the MVP for Miami. His chart did not have enough strength compared to previuos MVP or NBA titles. Hence I predicted Miami will not win. Who was the MVP? It was Wade not Shaq. Look at Wade's chart (using Moon lagna -you'll see the beautiful yogas). This was after the fact. 3. Here's another one for you. I have predicted that Chancellor Brown will be the PM of England during December last week. We'll see where this ends up. The bottom line is people make failed predictions, correct predictions with astrological reasoning (I always type at least a paragraph or sometimes pages). There are more critics than people who stick their neck out and make predictions. Nobody wants to be there when the rubber hits the road. The key is to predict consistenlty over 5/10 year period. It is easy to predict one or two events here and there -randomly and end up being a "one trick pony" -- Sincerely, Manjunath Sharma
Guest guest
Manju, You are making predictions without giving the astro analysis. The tenet of jyotish as I pointed out in my mail is that jatak has to come to the jyotishi for a reading. Has any of these guys come to anyone here for a prediction ? For all you know brown will become PM in december. Someone predicted ghe will be in october. Even if an event happens within a 3 month window, I consider it a good prediction. The point is we are just shooting out predictions without any astro analysis or the techniques used. I thought that was the reason for the forum like this. We can not even agree on length of dasha year , 7 or 8 karakas, and many more. The discussion should be on these topics. Whats the purpose of these one liner predictions ? Has any technique been discussed on this ? Same thing during soccer world cup, what came off it ? From jyotish stand point not much. Same with elections, at theend of it one will be correct others will be wrong. The one who is correct will gloat and others will get a chance next time. Lets discuss jyotish.
