Does it matter that the said planet is exalted, in own house or debilitated or combust. If it matter how it will effect to fulfil or not to fulfil this life's goals. if strength of AK planet has some weight where should the strength be checked in D1 or D9. Detailed descriptions of these karakas are given in both BPHS and Jaimini sutras. It signifies the development of the soul and hence a deginified position indicates spiritual gains.Also in case it is with the amatyakaraka it indicates favours from the kings and in todays world career growth. Its position in navamsa is called karakamsa and again give indications about the development of the soul.Karakamsa in lagna house is supposed to be very benificial. Other learned members can add to this.
