I am very pleased to announce that I have joined "Backs in Action

Wellness Centre", working with my chiropractic colleague Dr. Sharon

Dhaliwal. I will be accepting patients as of November 15. The clinic

is located 203-1750 E.10th Ave in Vancouver, in the EastVan Medical

building, conveniently located a half a block from the Broadway

skytrain station.

 

I provide clinical services in Western herbal medicine, Ayurvedic

medicine, clinical nutrition and wellness counseling. Using the

unique assessment tools found in Ayurveda and Functional Medicine, I

will enable you to discover your constitution (prakriti) and

metabolic type, and develop an individually tailored program to both

recover and maintain your optimal health. As an exclusive service to

my clients I offer a broad selection of very affordable organically-

grown, highly concentrated herbal extracts to support natural

detoxification, healthy organ function and total mind-body rejuvenation.

 

I have been in practice as a clinical herbalist and Ayurvedic

practitioner for over 10 years, working with patients young and old,

in both Canada and the US, and as far away as India and the

Caribbean. I am a graduate of the Clinical Herbalist program at the

Coastal Mountain College of Healing Arts in Vancouver (1996), and the

Arya Vaidyan Rama Variar Educational Foundation program in

Coimbatore, India (1997). I am the former clinical director of Wild

Rose College, author of the just released book “Ayurveda: The Divine

Science of Life,” and a long time professional member of the American

Herbalists Guild. In addition to my clinical practice I also serve as

a consultant for the natural products industry, and teach Ayurvedic

medicine and natural healing at various locations in Vancouver. For
