Guest guest Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 Dear Sirs My husband recently went under ayurvedic treatment ( panchkarma ) for three weeks. he had issues with digestion, pains ( mainly muscular; sometimes joints ) & anxiety. he had tough time in past few years & suffered in almost every sphere. western doctors diagnosed him with fibrositis & tendinitis in both shoulders. they believe that he might have throacic nerve injury. they advised him to take cortisone ( steriod ) injection. he feels numbness in hands/ dull pain sometimes. he feels pain in his lower legs & feet as well. with the ayurvedic treatment he had *& taking medicines regularl; there is some improvememnt. his approached has changed. he is more positive. the ayurvedic doctor told us that he is suffering from vatavyadhi & can be cured. i request you people to guide me that are we going in right direction. what is vatvyadhi. he stopped taking meat & soft drinks on advise of doctor & regulary does exercise & meditation. i wish you to advise us on diet pattern, precaution. he is 35 & all reports are absolutely normal except cholestrol level is on margin. he is taking ghee as advised by doc.
