So we contacted our local university religious study dept. and the Comparative Religions group is screening next week. Some religious study profs are giving extra credet to students that attend and we are hanging posters around town. Of course the showing is free to students and public. I just heard that our ordered copy has arrived in the mail! Dear Tusita and all ~ sorry I appeared to go awol again. I was in the hospital. Nothing terribly serious, but they wanted to keep an eye on me for a few days. Apparently, I'm fine, except, of course, for all my chronic illnesses. While I was in the hospital, my sister, MaryBeth called, and as we talked, she told me of watching "Darshan." She said she felt she was receiving Amma's darshan as she watched, and that she cried alot. It's wonderful what you were able to arrange through your Comparative Religions group, Tusita ... and extra credit to boot! Now I have to order my own copy. I'm not sure if there is any avenue where I live to do what you have done, but I will be happy just to see it. Jai Ma ~ Linda
Guest guest
Some of our small, unofficial Amma satsang (3 out of 5 of us)watched Darshan last night. I guess you might say we really enjoyed it. After the credits finished up my husband thought we should watch a little bit of the beginning again and before we knew it the credits were rolling for a second time! It was like spending an evening with Amma in India. We are curious to see how people who have never met Amma or traveled in India respond to the film. Enjoy the film!
