Guest guest
Not necessarily....I have seen some geniune rudraksha float in water... and atimes...fake vendors and add a small amount of heay substance such as lead, in the interior of the the bead, casuing them to sink.. geniune rudraksha can float on water...if it is sufficiently light weight. In most cases, the geniune beads that float on water are white in color (and sometimes are "pre-mature") i hve yet to find a full ripe fruit sink... Guest guest
Sinking or floating depends on the amount of moisture in a bead, not necessarily whether it is real or not. Guest guest
I have seen a number of genuine dried up rudrakshas float in water. Although they might be considered somewhat inferior than those that sink. Usually they have been eaten by insects from inside or have other defects. Best regards Dee
Guest guest
I have a wonderful collection of authentic rudraksham. Some float, some sink. Depends on moisture density. > [Original Message] > rik eshh <rik_eshh > > <> > 11/21/2006 3:44:00 AM > Re: Rudrakshas Water test > > Not necessarily....I have seen some geniune rudraksha > float in water... > and atimes...fake vendors and add a small amount of > heay substance such as lead, in the interior of the > the bead, casuing them to sink.. > > geniune rudraksha can float on water...if it is > sufficiently light weight.
