International Seminar on the ‘Textual Tradition of Ayurveda’ 15-19 Jan

The Department of Vyakarana of this University has decided to conduct an

International seminar on the ‘Textual Tradition of Ayurveda’ at the main

centre of the University at Kalady. The seminar will be conducted from 15th

to 19th January 2007.

We have great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International seminar on Ayurveda at Kalady from 15th to 19th January 2007.

Already people from Germany, Austria, Japan, UK, USA and Holland had registered for participation.

The seminar would provide a platform to exchange ideas and share experiences regarding various aspects of the scientific basis of this ancient and effective Indian system of health care.

 

Professionals and scholars in Ayurveda are requested to send the synopsis of

the papers to be presented at the seminar before the 15th November and the

full text of the paper before the 30th of November in CD format.

NB. An exhibition can be arranged in the University campus during the

seminar. In this exhibition, Medicinal plants, prepared medicines,

availability of different modes of Ayurvedic treatments etc can be shown.

The expenses regarding each pavilion will have to be borne by the concerned

party. University will provide the space with the prior permission.
