Siblings for mother, father etc.?- Odd Even Count?

Dear Visti-Ji and Learned Members, Namaste,

 

Do we change direction of count, backwards and forwards according to

odd/even rashi for siblings of e.g. mother?

 

For native himself, we count forwards or backwards, does this apply

to

the mother, father etc. also, or for these, do we count always in

the

forward direction.

 

Or to take an example; Simha lagna has Vrischik as 4th.

house/mother,

so is 6th. house showing younger or elder sibling of mother?

 

And, do we keep counting every 3rd. and skipping miscarriages as in

the case for the native?
