ruby and its direct correlation with lord of our planetary system sun

has been mentioned in proper vedas, upavedas, puranas, upapuranas,

upanishads, shastras, smritis and itishasas. it has also been said in

many places that any person who possess a (flawless genuine) ruby

becomes a king or enjoys kingly comforts. simply put, any person in

the world who wears or possess a genuine flawless ruby will live like a

king with all kingly comforts. for this particular gem ruby (i dont

call it a stone) any person can wear and have this without checking the

horoscope to find whether sun is benefic or malefic. any astrologer

who studied the subject in depth is aware that if sun and moon are

strong in a chart, even if all other planets are weak, the native will

have a great life. similarly if all other planets are exalted but sun

and moon are weak, the native gets a bad life. such is the power of

sun and its reflector moon.

 

even for realised souls who dont care for planets or stars, sun and

moon are important because of their direct correlation to ida and

pingala nadis and awaken the kundalini energy who is the god within.

 

hence ruby is the mother of all gems and any person who gets a genuine

flawless ruby is the most fortunate one.
