Guest guest
Its a basic rule which even learners should know that when the Nodes combine with Yogkaraka Grahas in Kendra ,whatever Lagna they may be, the Nodes are supposed to give good results. Theres no doubt about that. Mrs.Wendy has so kindly and graciously reminded us of that dictum. I am copying post from one of the members of a astrological Forum. Whenever Rahu conjoins with a Trinal Lord or AngularLord and is > > well placed > > > from the Ascendant, it is capable of producing a RajaYoga says > > > Clasics.Thepramana is > > > "Yadhi Kendray Thrikonay Va Nivasetham Tamograho > > > Nadhasyanatharasyavya sambandhath Yogakarakau" RajYoga in todays times does not mean King, but means elevated status. Rahu and Ketu as functional malefics is strange. No word as Functional malefic exists in Parashars texts. Functional malefic means a Dasha or some more Dashas which a particular Lagna has which creates difficulties for the nativity. Again this is prelimnary stuff or ABC for astrology Learners. In the present times, being benefic and Rajyoga is synonymous. If one hold a word "RajYoga" because of rigidity in terminology ,then he should not hold the word "Functional Malefic" which had no mention in any texts. Mars + Rahu as being very good condition for giving Rajyoga, it is understood and need not be said , that is subject to other evaluations. For other Lagnas it is again basic stuff that Mars and Rahu (where Mars is not Rajyoga)will give malefic effects., as both are by nature cruel and tamasic. This issue has been closed and I have to provide some references which would be done in time to come though Mrs.Wendy has already seconded the dictum, yet I will do so in time to come. regards, Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, I have (Cancer lagna) Mars/Rahu exact trine /thus conjunct in Navamsha (Leo lagna) in 5th H. I am currently in Mars MD, Rahu is next- but I tend not to see that as malefic combination- for the reasons discussed.Time will show...So far so good, LOL! Would like to hear others' opinion, though.
