Excellent comparision between neighbours and grahas in

rasis! :-)

 

The breadth of view you possess is most important to

all who practice Jyotish. Sometimes, we take a rather

narrow view, which doesn't do justice to the subject.

 

Take my own chart--with Surya in the 10th, many felt I

would get a Govt. job. However, I ended up as a

journalist (3rd [communications] in 10th [career]).

However, for almost a year, while running Guru Antar

[dispositor of Surya] I have been doing a lot of

e-governance stories, which concentrate on IT in

government. I have had to interact with senior IT

people in the Govt. The promise of Surya in the 10th

and the relationship to Govt. has materialized--albeit

differently!
