Guest guest
Dear Wendy, //17. If a node is in an angle in aspect to or association with a trinal lord or be in a trine in similar relation with an angular lord it will become Yogakaraka.* *// In my case, Rahu is conjunct Jupiter (though they are in different Rasis if one considers true nodes). Jupiter is 5th lord (in addition to being the 8th lord). Hence, I suppose this dictum applies to my case. In addition to being a Yogakaraka, Rahu is Vargottama as well. And, due to conjunction with Jupiter, Rahu acquires the qualities of Jupiter. This explains why my Rahu MD was an excellent period for my education. I am an University topper and Gold Medalist in Engineering. I completed my graducation in 1980 during Rahu MD. Later, I completed my post-graduation in Engineering during Jupiter MD. However, I had no luck with money during this period. Financial situation was very tight at home and my father struggled to even pay my fees. Thanks for guiding me to this shloka. Guest guest
Dear Anna, It is "Yogakaraka" and not "RY" according to the shloka 17 chapter 34 in BHPS. Guest guest
Dear Wendy, I see from your post that you consider naksh. occupation as vital a connection as is conj. itself. Is my understanding correct? /"..However, for you, Rahu, in 2nd house of education, occupies nakshatra of YogaKaraka Mars"/ In my ex.: YK Mars is in Rahu /Swati/ naksatra, Rahu in own /satabishak/ naks. (It happens that they are in close trine, as well, which results in their conjunction in Navamsha) Would you consider the former equally strong as the later? Second question: how much weight do you give to Yogi-AvaYogi planet, if any? Guest guest
Dear Wendy, Thanks for your reply- it makes your standing on this clear. I also tend to see the 'key' in nakshatras- most amazing issue in Jy. I'd say. It's just come to my mind that due to 'nakshatra importance' I normally consider carefully, I feel so attracted to KP, as well! helplessly, though, because I don't have the books, time, etc.. to study it.
