Guest guest
Dear Bhakta jana, Namaste!!! I'm expecting to receive a genuine Hira Shank from our dear friend. She has assured me it is a genuine natural shank. If the Hira Shank is fossilized Valampuri Lakshmi Shank that means the area where these are found must have had a lot of Valampuris millions of years ago, otherwise the price for Hira Shank would be higher than fresh Lakshmi Shank. I think as Shalagram is a fossil ammonite dating millions of years ago, and the Hira Shank is a fossilized Lakshmi Shank, then I am really curious to know more about them. Can anyone enlighten about Hira Shank? I was planning on desplaying in our Sri Navaratna Museum... is that all right? A fossilized Lakshmi Shank would seems to be sacred like a Shalagram. It looks like it needs to be added in our Sacred Objects list too. All information appreciated Best wishes Richard Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
dear richardji unfortunately i didnt find yet any information about the hira shankh in the scriptures and would be grateful if anyone shares references of this shankh in the classics. however, since this hira shankh does not have any pilae in the shankh, this cannot be termed as fossilized valampuri lakshmi shankh. the hallmark of valampuri lakshmi shankh is the pilae which are natural (and not found in any other types of shankh) but these pilae are not found the hira shankh. i have few hira shankh measuring between one to two inches in length and none of them have these pilae. however, i have given these as remedies for strengthening venus especially where venus is yogakaraka for a native and it gave best positive results to them. hence you may recommend this hira shankh to any native for strengthening venus. as you rightly observed, since this hira shankh is fossilised, it is akin to shaligram. like gold or traces of gold is found in shaligram, diamonds or diamond like wall is found in this hira shankh. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun 9948892439 sacred-objects, Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: > > Dear Bhakta jana, > > Namaste!!! Guest guest
Dear Richard, I have scanned major books and titles on conchs and sacred Objects. This includes "Shankh-Kalpa" and "Tantra Maharnava". Strangely Heera Shankh has not been mentioned in any of the books. The only thing or data available on it is through the website related to "Shalagram Ji". I have four pieces of Heera Shankh which i purchased from a Bengali Tantric. All of those pieces are in good shape. I need to get them buffed but i feel the service is still not available in my city. I will be delighted if somebody can provide a genuine detail about this conchs. I have talked to several vendors who sell them. They all know that it is a land based extraction. The strange thing is their right orientation. They look like miniatures of Vallampuris. I will soon provide Industrial X-rays of these objects.
