Guest guest
hmmm... Thanks BUT I note that you also included jupiter and saturn retrograde as well, on this thread that was specifically focused on mercury! You also have this -- jewelry.com -- thing in your signature on this Jyotish_remedies message...! That bothers some if not ALL of us remaining here, Allen! Please explain!! Guest guest
Dear Rohini: I didn't expect to have caused a minor tempest with you over supplying some requested information on Mercury Retrograde, and then being scolded for some bonus on Jupiter and Saturn for those reading that might appreciate the added info. Easy enough to over look the Grahas other than Mercury, yes? Since you ask, the dot com thing at the end of my signature is just that, my signature, and it's there without me thinking about it. I have been a Jyotishi and Jeweler for many years and frankly astrology is of no use unless it can provide remedies to help alleviate suffering. I didn't know that was against the rules to put one's website on their signature line. Also, I did not "plug" any of my services in that email. I was just providing what I thought would be welcome info to a colleague. Frankly, I am hurt by your suspicious response really don't appreciate you throwing it back in my face, and therefore it would be best if I retired from this board if that is the spirit and culture that has developed on this forum. Enough said. Best Regards to everyone, goodbye. With respect to RR, I do not understand why you choose to jump on Allen, trying to be helpful, for 1) giving even more than was requested ... with nothing insulting in his inclusion of other retrogressions currently occurring and 2) for his having a website under his name when there are many advertisements occurring in posts in this group, from my observations. For example, I wrote a request for help regarding a particular remedy for Shani, i.e. donating a black cow. The only response I received was an ad, w/ nothing directed to my question. RR made no comment to the poster who replied w/ an ad for services from the askganesh website (which actually seems excellent), but was, nonetheless, a direct advertisement, not nearly so subtle as a website listed below Allen's name as part of his signature. I certainly have seen others of that exact thing here. Observing these things has made me wonder about the name of this group, jyotish REMEDIES. And now I watch seeming unequal treatment of someone who has given value. I'm thinking Allen may have 6th house afflictions ... I, for one, shall be sorry to see him 'leave' and would ask him to reconsider. That said, I mean no disrespect to RR or to anyone else here. It's just that if I sit back and say nothing, then I tacitly become part of what I perceive to be unjust. Namaste, Caegan
Guest guest
I think both Caegan and Allen are overreacting a bit and overinterpreting my statements and taking those as a personal insult and getting all defensive about it. The message context was about mercury retrograde and it seemed a bit muddying to bring other retrogrades in. Rereading my post, it does not sound to me as 'scolding' which I do not do, since I am not someone's teacher or big brother etc. However, seeing that both of you are so sensitive about perceived criticism of your good selves, I will refrain from responding to either of you. Will that make your life smoother on this forum? Guest guest
Dear Allen, Firstly, I did not scold you. Rereading my posting, there really was nothing insulting or provocative or confrontational really. But the important thing is that you felt that way. That is disappoinging because I try hard to improve my writing knowing that it is not one of my strong points. It is sad that on internet our perceptions are often distorted by the incomplete nature of web-communication. I also have nothing against your commercial website appearing with your postings. I assume that that is allowed by this list. That is good to know since some lists preclude individuals from posting business links etc. I would call my posting more curious than suspicious, however, I cannot second guess your interpretations and perceptions, just as you would not be able to second guess a poster's intention. Hopefully, as Ashutosh ji pointed out, this is mercury playing out and not jupiter or venus or so on! As I wrote to you and Caegan, if my postings touch your buttons, unintentionally, the best recourse is for me to not write to you. I will make an effort to filter you out. I do correspond with so many on a daily basis so if I do end up responding in future mistakenly, ignore my post. Guest guest
Dear All, Misunderstandings rule and intolerances increase as and when planets are weak or mischievious in transit. Rohini Ji's response was out of curiosity and not intended to hurt. As he has clarified, it was only the use of words which gave a different meaning than what was intended to be given. Allen and Caegan both are very welcome in this group. The members here look forward to more inputs from you all towards the development of astrological knowledge and bonhomie among the members. Please bear with the testing times. The planets can really play havoc and astrologers should try not to be caught in the whirlpool of arguments which lead nowhere. Best wishes to all, Moderator, JR group. - Rohiniranjan Thursday, 02 November, 2006 05:15 Re: Mercury retrograde -- a request [?] I think both Caegan and Allen are overreacting a bit and overinterpreting my statements and taking those as a personal insult and getting all defensive about it.
