You can write for or against my theory....but "demanding" analysis is little far fetched !!! :) Well it is my friend Mr. Astrologer Ashutosh pushed me deeper into the debate....hence, to the extent or need I shall briefly touch upon the analysis with my limited knowlege and ignorance !!!!????!!! The only incentive in going through this analysis is something very symmetric type of horoscope including dasha pattern to the one Mr. Astrologer Ashutosh shared with me, in his e-mail on this contested debate of Jup-Venus. I think you have got the essence of your guru's version on Jupiter, but you did not entirely grasp or assimilated it. To coin mostly bad or good...would be a overstatement and lack of knowledge or selective use of knowledge at one's own peril. Every planet has 50-50 good & bad roles to play....the timing of the interchange of this roles is what an aspiring astro needs to discriminate in his analysis while applying learned knowledge. It is common knowlege that Jupiter does have some negative elements attached to it - a well placed Jupiter gives ego problems or a superiority complex, a poorly placed Jupiter also gives ego problems of "ahankar", an afflicted Jupiter gives the person to make overstatements of his competence or abilities....( roadside ice-cream vendor, saying he own an ice cream factory !!) or ( he knows our great Prime Minister Manmohan singh closely - well, I also know him.....but does PM he know me or him ??? Absolutely NO....i.e. speaking out of context...)....so on so forth..... To say that it gives rise to lust - because your guru said it....let us analyse briefly the combinations, here Venus is exalted, with Jupiter in own house i.e. both in Pisces...aspected by 11HL & 12HL Saturn ( Retrograde ) from 4H.... Here Venus is 3HL & 8HL = too many hobies ( inclination towards art is foretold), longevity to an extent.....natural inclination towards "probing" is foretold....Reason One - Venus is 3HL all 3H has come and settled in Lagna. The 3HL has moved to 11H from itself and getting exalted....it is very good....younger brother of the native rising high..... and 3H has become very strong.....however, as a 8HL, it has also brought the fatal things for 8HL has move 6houses from itself.... Venus is natural maraka by virtue of its Kalpurush kundalini and its ownership of 8H here, does NOT augur well for this native. Watch out Jupiter-Venus dasha periods.....Venus is born out of Lord Shiva, hence, can say he is son of Lord Shiva ( as per mythological stories....without going in details....well, i am speak extempore on mythology....), he also inherits the "death capabilities" for Lord Shiva is all about final extermination ( trust Arnold Scharzenegger knew about when worked in Terminator series of hollywood movie!!) Venus being primarily strong in your horoscope, the tendency towards "masti" or free expression ( pure & all Venus qualities) are all supreme !!! with Jupiter sub-ordinating Venus in this case. Concluding - inclination towards arts or all of 3H is inherent and apparent, to be of idealistic temperament is also foretold, a feeling of superiority is already in the air !! little carelessness attitude and fair amount of discpline is all indicated, little ego or contently happy is also indicated for LL is in Lagna..... = this were my original findings...and they stand vindicated in your horoscope clearly - unless you disagree on my points..... His views are that If one have Strong JUP in Natal chart, it will give him Undesirable LUST (though he pretend to be SAADHU), Undesirable EGO (that no one else is as knowledgeable than him and HIGHLY DEBATABLE issue that JUP never gives MONEY/WEALTH (whereas in every classical it is described WEALTH giver).
