I have a query regarding a chart about the child's longevity and general fortune. The birthdata is 20/01/1997 1:22 pm Delhi, India In this chart, 8th lord is debilitated combust in 9th house.Will this effect longevity adversely as the lord of life (8th lord) is weakend ? Or it will be OK as Sun Jupiter conjunctions are usually considered good. Also, there is parivartan between JU and Sa. Also, 8th house has benefics Ve and Me. Moon in 12th or in 8th either in Rasi or Navamsa reduces the longevity of the native. Guru by virtue of being combust (high degree of combustion!) looses vitality and hence his capability to produced any good is completely lost. Though Venus is a benefic, being the sixth lord could cause trouble. And, Venus is debilitated in Navamsha. Hence, one could say Budha is afflicted here. One thing that would help longevity is Sani (the Ayushyakaraka) is a Yogakaraka. You are right to see the Moon for alpayu. moon being in Exalted position and being away from Sun could score good points for the native. But in D9, it is not only conjunct with the debilitaed 6th Lord Venus and nodes, but also, is in 6/8 from jupiter. This being so, the position of Mars will take significance and I do not see he has obtained a good position either in Rasi though in D9, he is pure and strong. But there he is falling in D11 which is in itself a bad indication, with A8 being A6. There are strong possibilities of Accident or sudden diseases to the kid, though moon is strong enough to resist the efforts of Lord yama. I want you to closely inspect Moon in various shadvargas and you will find that he is acting as a healer.
