Guest guest
Om Amriteswari Namah Ammachi, please guide and bless us as we open our hearts to the teaching of the Sri Guru Gita. Divine Mother, stand with us, as we grow in our Selves and as we continue to open our hearts and our minds to your Love and Light. Amma, show us how to share your inspiration and your Love for us with the World. We dedicate our study today to Peace on this Earth, and to healing the hearts of humankind. Guru Gita Study Session 31 Verse 149. The Lord Said: The Guru Gita is the wish-fulfilling cow to those who repeat it with desire, the wish-fulfilling tree to the imaginative type and the wish-fulfilling jewel to the contemplatives. It is conducive to one’s welfare in all ways. Verse 150. He who repeats it regularly to achieve emancipation becomes emancipated. She who repeats it with a desire has her desire fulfilled. Verse 151. Let all worshippers of Shakti, of the sun, of Ganapati, Vaishnavas and Shaivas, repeat the Guru Gita. There is not the least doubt that it grants extraordinary powers. Verse 152. O Beautiful One! Now I shall speak about the spots where the Guru Gita should be recited by those with desires. On an ocean shore, on a riverbank, inside temples consecrated to Shiva or Vishnu. Verse 153. Or Shakti, in cowsheds, in all holy temples or ashrams, in the hollow of a banyan or thorn apple tree, or in Vrindavan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Om Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Lokah samastah sukino bhavantu Om santih, santih, santih Om sri gurubhyo namah hari om ~Om, may all beings in all the worlds be happy.
