I have worked with many children who fit the ADHD label. Many of these children consistently refuse any therapeutic directive. The best way for these children to learn any asana/pranayama is to see there parents practicing consistently. If the parents are practicing at home, the children will learn by example. This is especially beneficial because the child then learns the science of yoga - learning what helps and what doesn't help - a skill which they can take off of the yoga mat and into the rest of their lives. These children have a great intuitive understanding of how their bodies work, and will be drawn to the asana/pranayama that is best for them.
