Guest guest
Dear Satydharma Ji Namaskar and thank you for your message........a good deal of information to include Holy Book references that is seen on any one website.......... also contains information regarding the Holy Rudraksha that is localized from one part of India or another and this information doesnt necessarily come from a Holy Book...or it may.....it may also come from someones experience with the Beads and passed down from family to family As an example specific to mention of 3 Mukhi in a book named Gems and Rudraksha it is stated that it makes the wearer free from chronic fever certainly............and that the patient of the fever that comes after every 3 days is cured.......these two statements leave a lot to be said....doesnt say what type of fever so we cannot identify whether it is a common fever that breaks in 3 days......and since we dont know what kind of fever we also dont know if 3 days of takeing the grindings of 3 Mukhi Bead or its nut or its leaves or its root in boiled milk or water is what they are doing as there are no guidelines mentioned This book also does not mention there are two major species of 3 Mukhi Rudraksha one grows as the Indian 3 Mukhi in India and one grows as the Nepal Round in Himalayas and parts of India........If you go to Dr Subas Rais book he mentions that Eleocarpus tuberculatus Roxb is known in Kanada and Malaya and Tamil...southern India.....this is most likely the Indian 3 Mukhi.......Maybe.......and that its bark is used as a decoction for haemetemesis and indigestion and biliousness....and the nuts are used as remedy for rheumetism and typhoid fever and epilepsy.......nowhere does the word cure enter the text So takeing all this into consideration am thinking that the Holy Rudraksha Nut can be interpreted as the bead itself however most likely concerns the nut inside the bead..... or maybe both.....and that nut is used in some kind of decoction to tone down the fever until the disease leaves the body Am fairly certain there is no scriptural references about 13 Mukhi .......curing diseases...........however there is much mentioned regarding treatment of diseases with the Holy Rudraksha and its bark and leaves and roots In addition have not seen all that has been written and there has to be actual proof that someone has been.......cured......from a disease.........to say that this or that cures one from a disease is distinctly different than saying the person was treated for the disease with Rudraksha Medications......especially in the US with the US Medical Authority here..........as we all know people go to jail here if they take advantage of others who are sick by offering cures from disease without proof of an actual cure Only connection I have found for 13 Mukhi is that in general it is a Nepal Bead that would be used under a general heading of makeing a mixture from Eleocarpus ganitrus roxb from it fruit to to be used in the deseases of the head and epoleptic fits...and as heating and stimulateing agents as stated in the Subas Rai Book along with the mention that 6 Mukhi is substitute for 13 Mukhi.........and this book also states 6 Mukhi governs difficulties of Venus and then in the Gems and Rudraksha Book is stated that the 13 Mukhi is the Lord Indra Kama Deva Bead so seems there is some kind of connection with merits and values of these two different beads hope this helps Wishing you and Family the Best Rudra Center India and America DD , "rudraksha67" <satyadharma wrote: > > > Namaskar > > Are there any authentic scriptural references about 13 Mukhi Rudraksha > curing diseases?
