Guest guest Report post Posted October 24, 2006 I read a very good point on why Krishna doesnt come down to Earth now. A person asked Osho why Krishnas wasnt incarnating, as there was so much evil in the world, and we need a person like him? Besides he has said in the Gita he would come to save Good people when Adharma became high? Osho replied that if you look at history, any time is perfect for Krishna to incarnate. He could have been born in middle ages, when India was being invaded by Turks, or in 19th century by British. He could have come in time of 2 World Wars and saved millions of lives. But if Krishna was to be reborn everytime we face trouble, he would have to be born everyday! He has shown us the path, why do we expect him to still do everthing? 3rdly, there will always be evil. People have misunderstood that Krishna comes to protect good people- Krishna doesnt like cowards who sit around and expect Gods to protect them(like he told Arjuna). Krishna expects us to fight using his help. But he only comes down when evil becomes so high that even good people are affected by it. So in Mahabharat, even good people like Bhishma didnt say anything when Draupadi was being stripped. So Krishna doesnt come down to destroy evil(which he can do even from the Higher worlds), but to protect, even kill the good people who have strayed from the path. He doesnt kill out of vengence, but Love. So even though there is evil in the world, there are also good people to fight it. In Ghor Kaliyug, when even the good people have become corrupted or tired, thats when the Kalgi Avataar will come to end the Yuga, and take the few advanced souls to create the new World. This is a beautiful point !! yes Osho was right... but our purnanas etc have made us so much lazy that we wait for some avtar to save us and do nothing Nature takes revenge not only on those who exploite her energies, but also on them who were inactive, when action was needed, on those who run away from fight, where they are required to fight Inaction is equally sinful, as wrong action with love baba

Sri Aurobindo said same thing- Nature punishes ignorance above all else, in fact it is the only sin known to nature. This ignorance is the reason people stumble from 1 birth to another, without realising why.

This post is a of humility. The same concept all of the truly compassionate have asked. When is the truth to be born? You are here! You are where the truth is to be born! The babe needs only the seed but please keep these eyes of care and compassion even when you begin to see and never let conceit interfer. Follow me a bit. So if you were to see, right now, would you finish the project? Are you committed and if so would you be ashamed in representing no ritual least the observed by your peers? Will you stand for truth, ill regardless of norm?
