AMR has written abt the temple in thirupuvanam recently in kumudam jothidam.Is it the one near Madurai.How many hrs does it take from Madurai to reach there by car. Is bikshalaya near Mantralayam?.Amr has written abt this place also in kumudam jothidam. Where is Siddhar Kadhu? what speciality is there in this temple.Thanks.With rgds,revathi. Stay in the know. Thirukzhukundram closes by 12 noon and re open only after 4 pm. Nenmeli Srardha narayana perumal sannathi - you can have darshan of perumal anytime from out of the grill gate.. the Dikshidar resides next to the temple and will oblige to our request. He will explain you in length and bredh of perumal's karunyam. These 2 temples are some 12 - 15 Kms from Chengalpattu on the Chengalpattu - Kancheepuram road You can also visit Chettipunyam temple (Ramar & Hayagreevar temple) which is on the oppsite road to Mahindra City entrance before Chengalpattu (Ffrom Madras side). It is couple of kms from the main road (NH 45). Adiyen would suggest visting the following temples too Paadaladhri ( more renowned as SingaPerumal koil) where u can find narashiman , the diety here is swyamboo,utsavar prahlaadha varadhan, The yana vahanam in this temple is very famous, this utsavam would be celebrated grandly with good fire works and yesal.
