Ammachi, please guide and bless us as we open our

hearts to the teaching of the Sri Guru Gita. Divine

Mother, stand with us, as we grow in our Selves and as

we continue to open our hearts and our minds to your

Love and Light. Amma, show us how to share your

inspiration and your Love for us with the World.

We dedicate our study today to Peace on this Earth,

and to healing the hearts of humankind.

 

Guru Gita Study Session 30

 

Verse 144. The Lord Said:

 

It accomplishes impossible tasks, delivers one from

the fear of harm from the nine planets, puts an end to

bad dreams, and makes good dreams come true.

 

Verse 145.

 

It always bestows peace in every situation, grants a

son to a sterile woman, maintains the happiness of a

married woman by ensuring that she does not become a

widow, and brings good fortune.

 

Verse 146.

 

It grants longevity, health, wealth, and power,

children and grandchildren. If a widow repeats the

Guru Gita without desire, she obtains salvation.

 

Verse 147.

 

If she repeats it with a desire, she will not become a

widow in her next life. It removes all miseries, fears

and obstacles and delivers one from curses.

 

Verse 148.

 

It overcomes all hurdles and grants four-fold

fulfillment – righteousness, wealth, pleasure and

salvation. Whatever desire its worshipper entertains,

is bound to be fulfilled.
