It is considered by many jyotish forums as SPAMMING. You are probably new to internet but please be careful. Some forums are rather intolerant to crossposting (amounts to wasting of bandwidth). Guest guest Posted October 23, 2006 Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 Paulo, The "cross-posting" arose because you did not just post your response but cross-posted the entire thread from one forum to another, thereby carrying other people's messages and responses to the other forum. When people respond to your message on one forum, they may not wish to see you post the thread all over internet. I realize that scruples are low on internet with pirated versions available all over it -- pirated versions without clear indications of copyright release by original author, translator and publisher. Not only is this robbing authors and publishers of their well-deserved revenues but generally the pirated versions are not complete and create false impressions about the content of the original. And this service is often provided by individuals who are otherwise talking of high morals and talk about the lofty standards that jyotishis must abide by, as per Varahamihira and others! There is a dirty 'H' word that comes to mind!
