Particularly as in the case of this message, in which I responded to your half-cocked message on vedic astrology which you then cross-posted here as well! I am sure there must be similar intolerance to cross-posting on vedic astrology forum, so please do this cautiously. I am responding to your messages only because I do believe that though you are going through the uncertain-sceptic-questioning phase that all new astrologers go (at least the non-religious types) and so you are testing the waters, but your technique to do so may raise some doubts and concerns. Unless you can first raise the level of trust in your seriousness and sincerity, you will not be very successful in getting a response that will help you develop your trust. Perhaps something similar happened with the western astrologers you tested earlier. I would have much preferred that you could have spent some time in demonstrating that you have studied western and chinese astrology seriously and sincerely. You would have convinced me of that if instead of making claims about tropical zodiac being superior and giving no adequate basis for your claims -- you switch gears and throw your quiz at two jyotish forums and that too kind of hastily leading to multiple postings that are confusing the issue. Maybe you do want to confuse the issue or maybe you just have to improve your internet messaging skills. Either way, you should demonstrate your sincerity or else you will just be considered by serious astrologers as a sceptic who is dangling between two faiths, yet another fence sitter! Don't take this too personally as I realize you may be new to internet and have not quite figured this posting a message thing. Like I said, communication and counselling are two training modules that I would recommend to you for a future in astrological counselling! Take care. Have you ever tried some of the Goanese dishes that blend the Portugese and Indian cuisine. Do you know of the linked karmic history of your forefathers and their association with India and Indians?
