Guest guest
http://www.abc.net.au/rn/spiritofthings/stories/2006/1767043.htm Goddesses and Divine Energy India's divine pantheon is among the most ancient in the world, yet its goddesses such as Saraswati, Lakshmi, Durga and Kali are hugely important in contemporary thinking and practice. Four scholars explore the origins and current significance of goddesses in India today. They are Tamara Ditrich of the University of Queensland; Gauri Krishnan of the Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore; Mahdu Kanna of the Indira Ghandi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi and Chaya Chandrasekhar of the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney. This program ("The Spirit of Things") is also broadcast on Radio Australia shortwave. Yes, shortwave radio - the old-school 20th century leftover from the pre-podcast days! Gotta love Radio Oz!
