In shastihayani dasha it is Mercury-Jupiter. IMHO it is still not clear if dasha explains the fall/disgrace. 2. Jupiter is owner of 5th and 8th houses and aspects 5th house. It is also lagna lord from Moon. Chandra lagna is also strong. So I thought Jupiter's fifth house significations are amplified. There is no doubt it has to act as eighth lord also at some point. But why Jupiter-Ketu? 3. In Chara dasha it is Pisces-Virgo. Excellent Amk, AK Pk and DK. The only blemish is that of Rahu Ketu axis. Difficult to predict a fall using this Chara dasha. Praveen Kumar any thoughts ? 4. Transit Saturn explanation (as David pointed out) is good. Astama sani results ?? Sani has only 1 point in Cancer (BAV). I am sure some dasha of some D-chart will explain any event that is already known. If the native had come to you in January of 2006, what would you have predicted ? Would you have used naranyan dahsa of D-10 or naranyan dahsa of d-8, d-9, d-11, D-60 ? Whether such dashas are cited in classics for divisions is debatable. On the other hand, if the person has approached me in say January, 06, yes, I would have predicted this event provided I have digged deep into his chart which would require some time for detailed study. there are indeed great jyotish pandits who are so much knowledgeable that they do not require that much of time to predict these events.
